A Junior Library Guild and IRA Honor Book
If you're the sort of person for whom fantasy is sometimes just as "real" as fantasy, you'll love this book. It reads like and old fashioned classic with modern-day insight. I loved the ending.

First Rate Scholarship
For the serious student of the French Revolution and the discourse surrounding it, Williams letters, along with the wealth of accompanying materials included in this volume, offer a fascinating insight. Kudos to the staff that assembled this piece of work.

An absolute must for carers and sufferers of Anaphylaxis
This book simply and carefully explains how to recognise an Anaphylatic attack and what to do in an emergency. This is absolutely essential if you have just been diagnosed with Anaphylaxis, and especially if you are a parent with an Anaphylatic child. It is also an excellant book to pass on to family and friends with whom you visit regularly so they can get a better understanding of the importance of this life-threatening reaction.
If you are waiting to see a specialist (like we are) this book provides you with all the answers and information you need to know immediately. It also covers the many triggers of Anaphylaxis, ie, Nuts, Wasp Stings, Latex, etc, as well as providing helpful addresses for more information.
This book is also recommended by The Anaphylaxis Campaign. Don't delay, buy it. IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE, OR THAT OF YOUR CHILD'S.

A magnificant history!
For anyone interested in this facinating subject...this book is the "bible!" Thank you Betty Monkman for updating this history and for letting "fans of the White House" like me - be able to learn so much! I truly dream of someday having dinner off some of this china!

I have chosen this book as one of the texts for an introductory course in archaeology that has a World Wide Web component. If you would

One of the nice aspects of this text is that is was prepared in conjunction with an eight-part television/video series that is available for classroom use.

The Princess Grows a Garden
Princess Chamomile may be a princess but she doesn't mind getting dirty! Princess Chamomile and Milchoir (the gardener) plant a garden designed by the Princess. It takes a long time to create the garden - but it is worth the wait. This book is great for readers from 7 years and up and is a great book for all people interested in gardens and princesses! My favorite part of the story is when Princess Chamomile admits that she didn't play the piano well because she was day-dreaming. Knowing that someone else feels that way may let kids understand that a little whimsey instead of perfection is perfectly okay. It is also a good story to teach patience - and that good things take a while to come true. The illustrations are perky and fit the charm of the story. This is a delightful book and a good way to get students back into the swing of reading for this school year.

Excellent for toddlers!
I am a bilingual storyteller and was introduced to this book through my job. The illustrations are good, portraying a young boy as he goes on a walk and all the animals he comes across. The children I've read this book to love to guess what animal they will be seeing next by using the pictures. I would recommend this book to parents with small children. You can do so much with it!
Savory Suppers and Fashionable Feasts: Dining in Victorian America
Published in Hardcover by (1985)
Amazon base price: $21.25

Enchanting!
I recently needed to help someone plan a formal tea party. Off I went to my collection of books on cookery. I had such a hard time putting it back. Of course, planning the menu for my friend was secondary. Each page is a delightful taste of time past by yet, helpful in gathering those cherished gifts from Victorian dining to add pleasure to our meals of the 90"s. Enjoy!

The best of recent books on Wordsworth and Coleridge.
Eilenberg's book opens the complex and fascinating topic of intellectual property, in addition to providing brilliant readings of the major poems of these two seminal Romantic poets.
