A great read, informative and worthwhile.
For technical traders of all markets, this book is a must-have. From the most elementary techniques to the most complicated, this book puts all relevant concepts in an easy to understand, yet thorough, study. My own trading has become much more efficient, selective, and profitable since I read Stanley Kroll's BUSINESS ONE IRWIN GUIDE TO THE FUTURES MARKETS, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to gain similar results

This anthology, which includes a forward by Maurice Strong and an essay by E.O. Wilson, is the best book I have ever read on the subject.

The Leadership Gym
Though considerably biased as one of the authors, I have asked countless students (leadership course at the graduate level), professors and industry leaders to review this book and provide feedback. The vast majority have indicated a strong consensus that it is an excellent basic guide to entry level and mid-level managers who are in search of tools and techniques to enhance their skills in leading people.

These same tools and techniques that are defined in the book, plus many others, are part of the curriculum in the Project Management Master of Science Program at the University of Texas at Dallas. The evaluations have been particularly good and for that, I thank my co-authors, Tom Berliner and Rob Van Til...two of the brightest minds and down-to-earth approaches to leading people that I've ever encountered.

Thanks for your time...

Can't wait to see this one. Lilla and Dworkin is like a collaboration between Ken Vandermark and Wynton Marsalis.

A compelling, informative primary source
Let Us Meet In Heaven is a compendium of letters written by James Michael Barr of the 5th South Carolina Cavalry, during the American Civil War. Editorial notes explaining place names and the like help make the letters instantly and immediately understandable to any reader; extensive familiarity with the battles of the Civil War is not needed to read and understand Barr's testimony. Let Us Meet in Heaven also includes an index makes for quick and easy reference. Let Us Meet In Heaven is a compelling, informative primary source and an invaluable contribution to Civil War studies reading lists and historical reference collections.

A hell of a ride
Zagst, this is a great book. Wonder if you're still writing. It takes history and bends it in interesting ways. Warren Harding, Thomas Edison and other bigwigs go camping... Sounds like a bad joke. Instead it's a good novel.

Major Problems in Civil War & Reconstruction
Published in Paperback by Houghton Mifflin Co (1998)
Authors: Michael Perman and Thomas G. Paterson

For Civil War Buffs
This book was a required supplemental text for my class on the American Civil War and Reconstruction. In a series of essays covering the years 1848-1877, various historians put their spin on the events in the United States during these years. These essays include everything from secessionists, the life of the slave, and the life of the soldier during and after the war. For anyone interested in this period of American history this should be on your list. However, for those who wish to further their knowledge of this subject I would strongly recommend that this should be read along with a book that covers the course of the Civil War era in American history. James McPherson's Battle Cry of Freedom: The Civil War Era would be an excellent choice.

Michael Jordan: Basketball Skywalker
Published in Paperback by Lerner Publications Company (1999)
Author: Thomas R. Raber
Amazon base price: $5.95
Used price: $5.90

A Great Selection
There are 78 pages and the AR level is 5.9. The book is about Michael being the world's best basketball player and the Bulls winning six NBA championships and he won five regular-season MVP awards. When Michael's dad got murdered he retired from basketball and played his dad's favorite sport, which was baseball. He found out he wasn't good at baseball so he went back to playing basketball for the Bulls.
Michael was very happy seeing his parents at his games. I likeed him because he was a good basketball player and he cared about his parents, his wife, his kids and his team. The rest of the characters also liked Michael. The setting made me like the book because it was at basketball courts and I like going there to see games. The story was interesting and sade because his dad got killed and he retired from something he liked twice.

This has been my VB bible for the last 4 years
I cant tell you how happy I am of owning this book.

I bought it for a class I took at San Josel, CA 4 years ago and up to today it is my number 1 reference for VB programming. I has a complete set of projects scalating from simple to more complex. As you follow each chapter/excercise your VB knowledge becomes more and more solid.

It is also a great reference book (but only if you have been through al the excercises) since it is full of code and tables with imprtant data and concepts. The book is formatted as a cookbook. A step by step tutorial takes you through the chapters while learning in a painless and fun way.
