The obvious problems with the Parallax inversion effect was overlooked whilst writing this book leaving the section of hydrogen bonding rather sketchy and all in all a little vague. The author seemed to lack understanding of the subject matter and clearly needed to spend more time researching the base topics involved (esp. Hydrogen bonding anti-inversion relapse). I felt the book moved from one topic to the next with no real explanation of the autors thought processes (if any!). The book is slightly 'dated' in it's approach albeit an old book, but it was dated even in its day. The subject matter would have been far better served with a broader more flexible approach to the quantum - devience factors which seem out of reach of the reader. The book does have it's merits, Rigby clearly has his strengths in resolving the complex mathematical equations required to derive the Schrodinger Equation from first priciples. If this book was ever re-published (and prefferably proofed for errors (the last time it must have been done by a real layman)) it would be a great guide to all the forces between molecules. Alas so much potential squandered...misses greatness by a mile

Frank Smith was truly a man with ideas before his time! He fought and sacrificed to ensure everyone had the same rights that are guaranteed all under our Constitution. This was unheard of in the segregated South in the '50 and '60s. "Mississippi Liberal" is an excellent history of the Mississippi Delta and the environment that shaped the ideas and life of the Congressman from Mississippi--Frank E. Smith. A man who worked hard to make a difference for all races... and he did! A very comprehensive work by Dr. Dennis J. Mitchell--A superb job!

I know William Jay Smith is a respected poet, but I found his poems to be lacking something. His style seems to be stuck in adult mode, but with children's-poem-style. I'm probably not making myself very clear here, but I didn't find myself hating the book. I just didn't like it, and keep seem to work myself up into saying much about the book. And that should say it all.

Well it's no wonder this book is out of print. It has got to be the single worst book on microscopy I have ever seen. For people who are supposed to be experts on microscopy, the pictures in this book are sloppy. Presumably, English is the first language of the authors, though you'd never know if from reading the book. The book by Goldstein et. al is much better.

This book is not designed as intended for a board review. It is fill of CAQ level cases, with less than optimal images and is set in a 'what am i thinking' format. A waste of time and money.
