A Price Guide for the Rest of Us!
Now this is what I call a Price Guide. One that takes a realist look at what comicbooks are truly sellling for in today's marketplace.
I also recommend Malloy's American Games: Comprehensive Collector's Guide, and Robert J. Sodaro's Kiddie Meal Collectibles (on which Malloy is a contributor).

The Best Comicbook Price List on the Market
If you are looking for realistic, buying and/selling prices on your comicbook collection (or on comics you are wishing to purchase), then this is the price guide for you. Malloy has a solid handle on the pricing structure of the industry, and his prices are very much in line with what is going on in the marketplace. Rather than pricing comics as what he wishes they were priced, Malloy goes the extra mile to learn what they are being priced at across the country. Also, you might want to check out his board game prices in American Games: Comprehensive Collector's Guide, or his fast food toy prices in Kiddie Meal Collectibles.

Flowers from the Moon: And Other Lunacies

Fantastic and terrifying short stories
Flowers From The Moon And Other Lunacies is a collection of fantastic and terrifying short stories by Robert Bloch, the renowned author of "Psycho," the novel that became one of the most famous horror movies of all time. Descriptive narration of magical events being twisted into macabre and gruesome doom, bring these spine-chilling tales to vivid life, in an unforgettably eerie anthology. The stories comprising this highly recommended anthology include: The Druidic Doom; Fangs of Vengeance; Death is an Elephant; A Question of Identity; Death has Five Guesses; The Bottomless Pool; The Dark Isle; He Waits Beneath the Sea; Power of the Druid; Be Yourself; A Sorcerer Runs for Sheriff; Black Bargain; A Bottle of Gin; Wine of the Sabbat; Soul Proprietor; Satan's Phonograph; The Man Who Told the Truth; The Night They Crashed the Party; Philtre Tip; and the title piece, Flowers from the Moon.

A nice compilation of some of Bloch's earlier short stories
An excellent title by a man whose work still delivers the goods. Many of these stories are from Bloch's pulp days and provide a nice body of work to supplement the other titles you might have read including *Psycho*. If you've never owned an Arkham House title, this is an excellent one to snag. It's well-crafted and has a very intriguing dust jacket.

Bloch is a craftsman of the highest order; it's amazing to see how stories written when he was barely out of his teens still compare favorably to ones written late in his career. He was a massive talent.

Everything you will need when it comes to costs
The table of contents alone gives an impression of how thoroughly this book covers all the aspects of managing costs in restaurants and food service operations. The book is also well organized and accessible - important concepts are clearly explained, and examples are well chosen. And it is also timely: no matter how attractive or imaginative your restaurant might be, controlling costs is critical to maintaining financial stability in a competitive environment.

Here in a single, engaging volume is everything you are likely to encounter (and the answers too!) in keeping costs down and sales up. A recommended investment.

Great Book
Great Book! I Found These step-by-step guides easy-to-read, and easy to understand! The books are packed with information. They reminded me of "cliff Notes" from my college days. The information is comprehensive without the fluff you find in so many of the more expensive books out there on the subject. The books are also packed with resources such as phone numbers and the web sites of the companies they are discussing - there is no "theory" just great information.

Investment Pricing Methods : A Guide for Accounting and Financial Professionals

Extremely Valuable . . . .
This book explains and illustrates (with real world examples) how to estimate the value of financial instruments that are traded on listed securitues exchanges, as well as some that are not actively traded. The book provides valuable demonstrations of how wide range practical sources of information can be used to compute prices for commercial mortgages, private-placement bonds, mortgage-backed securities, derivatives, joint ventures, and other financial instruments. Casabona and Traficanti also provide 340 slides that expedite learning...

A Primary Resource
A useful guide for both the accounting and financial professionals who must tackle valuation on a regular basis. Casabona and Traficanti explain the basics of pricing various types of fixed income securities, equity securities, and the whole gamut of derivatives. I was particularly impressed by the fact that Casabona and Traficanti do not limit themselves to publicly traded instruments; instead, they consider both the public and the nonpublic (i.e., private) markets for securities. The book is well thought out, well organized, and easy to follow . . . I can easily see it becoming a primary resource for the accounting profession and for Boards of Directors of both issuing institutions and of the investment companies that represent the target investment market for many of the instruments discussed.

An excellent basic currency reference.
This work, along with Friedberg's book and Hessler's work, make up the three primary basic reference works on United States Currency. The Catalog contains an excellent reference section on National Bank Notes, receiving much more press than in Friedberg's work. The pricing, while out of date, is actually fairly realistic in today's market, unlike the Black Book or even Friedberg's book. A great plus is that this work is cross referenced by Friedberg Numbers, which are the standard cataloging numbers used by all dealers and collectors in the hobby. Well worth the investment!

Excellent Resource for Golf Training
Golf is not the game for overweight elitists anymore! Look at today's best players (Phil Mickelson aside). They are fit, they are strong, and they lift weights DAILY! (Not Daly:-)

Even before they tee off at the majors (and certainly after the round) the pros hit the gym to weight train. So why shouldn't we?

GOOD INFORMATION and GREAT WORKOUT PROGRAMS. Highly recommended!

FINALLY a book on GOLF SPECIFIC weight traning!
I've been waiting around since Tiger's well publicized workout routine for a book like this to come out. Gives me exactly what I need - a golf-specific weight training program!
