Fabulous! This book is highly informative yet easy to read and understand. It meaningfully chronicles all the stages of a woman's life with both personal accounts and an abundance of up to date clinical information. A Book for Young Dog Lovers Everywhere
This book is written in short, simple sentences, using high-frequency vocabulary that's sure to make young readers successful. It tells about a dog who wants to play and the little boy who wants that dog to go away. This little dog will win the affection of very young dog lovers and little boys everywhere with his antics and determination!

Playful Pup Persuasively Pounces
A boy who is afraid of dogs meets a friendly long-haired barking fellow looking to play. He tells him to go away, but the dog insists on being friends. The dog instantly loves the boy, but the boy isn't so sure.

Your child will learn how dogs are fun to play with, and how some things aren't quite as scary as they might first appear.

The colorful, warm drawings have endured through the years, and will help bring a smile to your face.

I fully recommend "Go Away, Dog."

My "most favorite book"
I have the original version (1963) and mine has the following inscription written by my mother:

"This was a library book I checked out for Lisa when she was 4 and 1/2 years old. She loved it so much she kept putting off taking it back and one day 'could never find it again'. Later, she told me she hid it and by then I had paid the library for it. Her most favorite book then and for a long time."

I cherish my copy of Go Away Dog and am buying the new version for good friend's baby shower.

curly~haired girl from the alps!
My mom had an old copy of this book from when she was little. She wanted ME to read this! I was like, yea, right. So one day i was bored and i picked it up, started reading the first pages, and by two days later i was finished with it! I'm telling you, this book sucks you in! The interesting story of Clara, Peter, Fraulein Rottenmeier, grandfather, and Heidi herself is all fastened together in this extrodinary book. You will NOT put it down i'm serious!

Heidi- the reveiw
This book was very interesting. It is about an orphan girl who is sent away to live with her Grandfather in the alms. She is very happy there making lots of friends. Then she is taken away by her mean aunt to be a playmate with a rich girl; who she later makes bossum friends with. But she returns after being incrediaby homesick. The ending is very happy and uplifting, also my favorite part. Everyone should read this book because it is a VERY VERY good book.

Bre's
This is one story that everyone should read. Beautifully and sensitively told, it is the story of a young girl named Heidi who is taken away from her grandfather on the alm and sent to be a companion to a young invalid girl. It teaches lessons about faith and patience in a manner that many Christian writers should take note of. It is not just simply a children's book, it is a book for grown-ups as well. A delight to read.

10 Foolish Dating Mistakes That Men & Women Commit : And How to Avoid Them
Published in Paperback by Griffin Pub (1997)
Authors: Lila Gruzen and Rebecca Sperber
Amazon base price: $14.95

Relationships "Lite"
This book has everything you need to cure your dating dilemas, but the information is presented in such an "in your face" style that it may offend some dater's delicate sensibilities. Yeah, I'm flawed, but I don't need the good doctors to hit me over the head with it. Break it to me gently. Some of this stuff may be a revelation to the truly dating impaired, and we need a little more coaching to make it our own. Don't get me wrong, this quick reading book covers every dating mistake you are likely to make (many more than the 10 in the title), and gives you suggestions for improvement. However, if you would like to have the subject covered with more sensitivity, try reading John Gray's Mars and Venus on a Date, or Barbara DeAngelis' Are You the One For Me?

Relevant to more than dating
This book shows the reader how to be a better significant other by focusing on improving themselves. While that is the main focus of the book the rules applied to dating by Gruzen and Sperber are also very applicable to all relationships that people are in, friendships, roommates, etc. Humerous but poignant examples show the reader what he or she might be doing wrong, and often what he or she is doing right!

One of the best Dating books I've read
I've read through piles of books on dating and relationships, and this book packs the most bang for the buck. Whenever a book makes a strong statement which is undoubtedly true, I highlight it in yellow. This book had a lot of yellow in it by the time I was done reading it. The tag-team authorship is well educated, and at the same time easy to read. I recommend it to anyone that has worried about issues in dating, relating, and mating.

Lila's New Flame (Sweet Valley High, No 135)
Published in Paperback by Skylark (1997)

Is Lila innocent?
Maybe Lila is being framed for the fire, but she certainly is guilty when it comes to her unprofessional relationship with Steven.

Part of Fowler Crest has burned down in a fire- and too much evidence against Lila is starting to look suspicious. Since her parents are away with no way to contact them, Lila becomes vulnerable, looking at Steven as a knight in shining armor when Steven is supposed to be investigating the case. How could Steven become so attracted to spoiled Lila, even if she is so seemingly helpless?

Okay, so that was a dumb little fling between them, but the book was exciting. Aren't most of the SVH books? When so much evidence started pointing at Lila, I almost believed she was guilty. Maybe that's a little farfetched, but it didn't look to good for her.

If you're looking for an in depth, soul searching book, perhaps this book isn't too well suited for your needs, but if you're like me and have enjoyed reading this series, read this one too! It's full of excitement and action!

This book was a great book!
This book is a great book and I recommend it. It is a little weird that Lila and Steven get together though. And it leaves you thirsty for more!

Great book
I thought this book was really great. It was interesting and I loved it. I knew Lila and Steven would get together sometime, and I was shocked to discover my guess was right when I saw this book.

Good book!!
Eva is a good girl and she has a lot of good friens. Girls go to Lila's birthday party. But Eva said "I won't go". Her father hurts. Does Eva go to Lila's birthday party with Elizabeth and Jessica?

Good book!
Elizabeth help Eva for Lila's birthday present. I think Elizabeth is very gentle's girl. They are bood friend. I think Lila's birthday party enjoy for everyone.

This is a little kids' book of friendship and love and care
You would love to give this book to your kid(s) because it teaches moral values w/o them knowing it! They'll just think it's fun to read! I read this about five years ago, when I was eight. I think anyone up to the age of nine can read this book. It's about a girl named Lila who's very rich. She's going to have a big, huge party with anything a kid could want and she's invited some classmates...but one of them has a homemade present and feels that it's about useless to this poor little rich girl. She learns that it's heart that counts, not face. (Which means it's what's inside, not what's out.) A very sweet book.
