This is the most complete data fusion reference available.
This is a well written reference book that clearly describes the mathematical aspects of multisensor data fusion. It can be used effectively by experts and those who are just beginning to explore this technology. The book includes clear figures, tables, and equations and features an exhaustive list of references for further study. I highly recommend this book as a first step to understanding this technology and its impacts.

david lee creates yet another masterpiece
David Lee creates, through his stories of small town dwellers, a quilt of stories that embody everything from death to relationships. The true beauty of this collection of characters extends well beyond the scope of "My Town" and into the heart and lives of us all. In "My Town", like in it's predecessors , "Day's Work" and "Porcine Canticles", the "pig poet" and poet-laureate of the State of Utah creates a delicate world of humanity. (I had the tremendous opportunity to study under David Lee in college and I am admittedly a bit biased...)

He was a remarkable man.
Once again David Bohm, one of the most original of thinkers, has demonstrated his ability to make original and fascinating discoveries in regard to, let us say, life in general. This is a combination of physics, biology, philosophy etc etc or as it used to be called natural philosophy. Bohm was one of this century's last remaining natural philospohers in a time of specialisation, in some ways akin to Robert Rosen, Darcy Thomson or Einstein all of whom were willing to expand their frontiers beyond their areas of specialisation. What singles Bohm out is his deep investigation of all aspects of thought especially the study of thought itself, its origin and dissolution and is human life possible without it, in other words is thought all there is or does being human mean a great deal more and other ?

In this short text Bohm looks at creativity, what it is, what it means in human life, how it works and various other aspects. Bohm, like in his other works, shys away from any form of solid definition, this is done on purpose, rather than because of a lack of understanding, Bohm insists that any form of thought, concept, idea which becomes crystalised as the "whole truth and nothing but the truth" interferes with the natural flow of reality which is ever changing and never static, this includes ideas as well which are insights about this flow (expanded on earlier in eg "Wholeness and the Implicate Order"). In this book he considers something he calls artamovement or "the art of fitting in the flow", here the word fit is in fact the meaning of art, in fact all forms of human endeavour are a form of art. This fitting in is the way people find out whether something is true or right in a context.

This, as usual, is highly original and especially true to itself, Bohm always writes what is true to itself and himself, he never, right until his dying day, failed to expound the truth whether he liked it or not. He epitomises the true seaker of knowledge which today is often smothered by individual desires, political expediency, domination from others or downright egotism. He was a remarkable man.

On Singing Onstage
Published in Paperback by Museum of Our National Heritage (1978)
Authors: David Craig and Lee Grant
Amazon base price: $11.95
Used price: $4.99
Average review score:

Singing with Clarity, Emotion and Purpose!
David Craig breaks down the sometimes overwhelming task/joy of performing songs into manageable chunks. His analysis of songs at the beginning of the book is priceless. After determining the Who-what why-when-where-how facts, the singer is guided through creating a subtext that personalizes and animates the performance, making it truly something worth watching/hearing. Highly recommended to singers of all genres, although Mr. Craig's focus is on musical theater. Answers the eternal question, "is this song (trip) necessary?" with a resounding "YES!"

The Pirates of Sufiro is a wonderful novel!
Pirates is simply one of the best novels I've read. The characters are engaging and believable. The plot is both fast moving and rich. While set in the future, it reflects life as it is today.

Outstanding!
PR Visionaries is a remarkable piece of work! It provides you with the techniques and secrets of the best and leading members of the industry, from Ketchum, Porter Novelli, Brodeur Worldwide, and other leading players.

While strong on the strategic side, PR Visionaries is a bit weaker on the tactical side. I don't hold the editors responsible for this, however, as this is not a how-to manual, per se. For the tactical side, I found Guerrilla PR: Wired by Michael Levine to be a more than adequate resource.

PR Visionaries, as the title says, has the giants of the public relations industry tell you how to get noticed, build a brand, develop and protect a reputation, and how to be effective with key opinion-leaders, including the CEO. While it might be overly dramatic to say the book spills their secrets, PR Visionaries covers the various facets on how to successfully manage a powerful public relations campaign on all levels, one that clearly resonates with key stakeholders and publics.

Shelley is a genius...
Although better known for his poetry, Percy Shelley is a thought provoking author of prose, as well. The book contains over 35 essays reflecting Shelley's views on such topics as religion, life, capital punishment, love, and freedom. His views on God and religion are particularly astute and would interest anyone who has wrestled with his/her own faith.

Simply awesome!
Very surprised that this book is not reviewed much. Has great case-based questions for a majority of the tested topics with detailed and valuable answers that help to distinguish between even the most apparently similar diagnosis. It is question and answer based USMLE Step 2 review at its very best. Because of this book, I passed Step 2 after an initial unsuccessful try using other really dry, boring review books that just took up space on my bookshelf. Keep it simple, this book is all you need for Step 2. Thanks a bunch to Dr. Alario and the whole cast for having written such an exceptional review book.
