Hello. I am an 11th grader in high school and for my algebra II class we are using this book. It's too bad it's not available (I could not buy it) but the book is great. I have understood all the terms used in algebra and I can solve any problem on the book. It has great examples and good definitions. If you are a teacher in look for the book to give a class, buy it... it is great! If you are a student, just like me, and you want to buy it, you won't regret paying what is costs. I found this book to be a good beginning point for mathmatical studies. Having been a life long "problem math student" this book has made great inroads into my otherwise bleak mathmatical future. It starts at the most basic aspects of Algebra, Geometry, and polynomials finishing up in radical equations.

From the student point of view, I have to say I have enjoyed this book far more than the previous 2 I have had the displeasure of having for a textbook, and I would reccomend it to others for ease of use, learning, and economy of time.

My five-year-old daughter just adores this book and I love to read it to her! We giggle and laugh all the way through it. It's a really cute tale of a little man who just doesn't seem to size up, but when he uses his head he finds that he really can 'chase giants!'

This book is good because the sea's message tells the reader to pick up trash they might see when they're boating or not to throw trash in any waters.

Fairly technical may be not suite you if you don't have some background in social science research.

This is a fun, information packed book. Children will delight in learning math and not even know it. It is simple enough for a 2nd or 3rd grader to understand. It is a perfect book for a child who doesn't like math or who finds it hard to understand. Educational, yet fun! I recommend it highly!

This is the best kid's workbook on grief I have ever encountered. It is so well written that everyone benefits of using this book on the journey of grief. A most for every bereaved family.

I found this beautiful picture book of French Fashions from the 19th century an absolute delight.

The pictures are excellently drawn, in FULL COLOR, and filling an entire page. Most of the pages show two ladies in lovely costumes from the period.

The brief text either explains the occasion for which the dress would be worn, or the materials and fabric of the gown.

There is always a bit of background color behind the ladies so they are not on a stark white page, yet the background does not, in any way detract from the ladies and their apparel.

There are more detailed explanations of each of the gowns featured , listed and numbered, at the front of the book.

There are also a couple of pages featuring various bonnets and hats for spring and winter wear.
