Archbishop Van Thuan spent 13 years in prison in Vietnam, and 9 of those years in solitary confinement. His great love for Christ and for his people illuminated the darkness of his suffering and now shine from every word. His heart was crushed in the winepress of sorrow, and the wine of his words will bring life to your spirit. They are simple and spare, pure and joyful, rich and sparkling with eternal wisdom. This is a small book, but profoundly beautiful.

As a newcomer to fly fishing I had many questions about what gear I needed. This book provides the answers quickly. This book is well written by a seasoned veteran and it's a quick read. The quick guides to selecting the right gear allowed me to select a rod and reel that will provide versatility for several fish. This isn't the last book I'll read on fly fishing but it got me started in no time at all. Thanks John!

It is very detailed and gives you good mental pictures of what it is really like in some areas of the world. This book also helps you to get good perspectives on the worlds hugely large size. The sciences are not as much involed in this book as expected but are in great detail. All in all this is a pretty good book. You should buy it.

I think this is the best travelling guide of Greece I've ever seen! The pictures are brilliant, they really bring out the atmesphere of Greece, i can almost smell the air of kos while watching the pictures.... the text is interesting and easy to read, keep up the good work!

Although a very interesting book, the title is misleading. It should have been "A Pictorial History of the Recrevational Vehicle in America". It is not a how-to book at all. Interesting photos and information on vintage units, both home and commercially built, as far back as 1913. Some must be seen to be believed.

Is a book wich explain detaily, all the laws on termodynamics, has a very good examples and excercises. Another issue, it works on International systems Units, and is very good because the world is changing for using that units on all the industries, it has conversion factor for English and metrics units. I recommend it as the best book for the begining on Termodynamic studies.
