Lucianna Stewart is a tomboy, she even dresses like one, but you really can¡¦t blame her because her mother died when she was a few months old and was raised by a father and 4 brothers! Anyways she works as a mechanic and has a boyfriend, John. John is like the bad guy, he don¡¦t treat her as a boyfriend would treat a girlfriend and when he leaves on a business trip to Canada, Lucianna decided she had enough. She decided that she should act more feminine and this is where Jake comes in.
Jake Carlisle is Lucianna¡¦s neighbor and a friend of the family¡¦s since like forever(?) and he¡¦s the gorgeous sexy type. He decides to help Lucianna by making her look and act more feminine and it works. He teaches her how to flirt, to look at the signs of body language, and among other stuff. What he didn¡¦t tell her was why de wants to help, she thinks it¡¦s out of his good heart, although he has other intentions.
When John comes back from Canada, he¡¦ll see a whole new Lucianna, and a whole new attitude. Along with a few changes Lucianna decides to make in her life about the boys in particular.
I liked this book it was a light read. (But what Harlequin books weren¡¦t a light read?) Anyways I like these kinds of books and i don¡¦t normally find these kinds of romances where the hero/heroine would change itself to discover more and to realize more. I wonder if I¡¦m the only one who like these books because most of my friends like to read books about the strong and independent types.

Not a great way to start a relationship! Katie believes she's in love with Gareth, who just happens to be married to her twin sister Louise. What does it take to make her realize that true love is right next door?

Sara is likeable & vulnerable, even though she isn't as strong a female lead as I usually prefer, & Jonas is one of Penny Jordan's (and Harlequin's) most appealing male leads.
The story has a slight twist from the usual plot developments, and that makes it even better. The chemistry between Sara & Jonas just seemed to jump off the pages and it was so real that I have read this book several times, and I have a lot of books!
If you haven't read Penny Jordan's Harlequin Presents books yet, start with this one, because it's a gem.

Years ago , David Crighton went missing.Deliverately. He'd walked away from his close knit family, beautiful home and a scandal of his own making.
Since then he's met Honor Jessop. A spirited woman with more warmth and compassion than he's ever known. But he's told her nothing of his true identity- or his dark past.
Now, though, it's time for Honor to find out the shocking truth. And for the Crighton family to be thrown into turmoil.
Because David is finally ready to come home.
Definately a must! I hope Penny Jordan follows up with additional tales of the Crightons. Perhaps Joss or John???
In "Coming Home", David decides to return. He's spent the past years in Jamaica, working alongside Father Ignatius, a Jesuit priest, caring for the sick and dying. The biblical allusion to the prodigal son is indeed appropriate for David.
"Coming Home" is beautifully written and Penny Jordan fans won't be disappointed. David's transformation is moving and believable. Naturally, I expected most of his story to revolve around what happens when he and his family are reunited. How does he feel? How do they feel? Can the wounds he inflicted ever heal? Unfortunately, none of these questions get answered thoroughly here, and this is the only complaint I have with the novel. "Coming Home" focuses more on the romance between David and Honor Jessop, an herbalist new to Haselwich. In addition, Ms. Jordan introduces two other story lines involving David's children, Olivia and Jack. Smells like a sequel--or sequels--of course!!
In "Coming Home", Penny Jordan tells a dramatic story of salvation and redemption with great insight, compassion, and empathy for her hero. We feel David's remorse. We can recognize ourselves in him. That Ms. Jordan can evoke within us these feelings and a strong sense of self-identification with her hero is proof of her talent and sensitivity.
The only glitch in his plans is that Andreas think Saskia is a "woman of the world" when she's only a virgin! And she's forced to share a room with him in his family's villa, but how are you supposed to tell somebody that you're a virgin!
I love THE DEMETRIOS VIRGIN. This book belongs in the series Greek Tycoon and whoever normally enjoys books from this series would definitely enjoy this one. I liked how Athena would throw an occasional wrench in Andreas and Saskia's relationship because Athena may think that's keeping them apart when it really pulls them together. The one thing that I hated was how Andreas would always mention "Because I'm Greek" or "That's the Greek side of me". I hated comments like that but other than that, THE DEMETRIOS VIRGIN is very enjoyable!
