Gripping suspense
I think this book is one of Ms. Jordan's best. The other books I've read of hers sort of dragged on. I didn't particularly like the way she went on and on about the past and left only around a hundred pages for the present. But this book is much better. Sometimes I felt like punching Jay but then I thought he was so sexy that I didn't give a damn what he did. And Bram was also sexy . . . like father like son. I haven't finished the book yet but as soon as I get home tonight I'll know what the outcome is.

Power is Everything.
Self-made millionaire Bram Soames is a powerful, charismatic businessman. But he's also a man torn by guilt over the scandalous relationship that produced his son.

Jay Soames has always used his father's guilt to his advantage and has, for years, schemed to keep anyone-particularly any woman-from gaining a place in his fathers life. Until Taylor Fielding.

Having had her whole world destroyed by the violent actions of one man, Taylor has struggled to create a new-and safe-life for herself. She is a woman whose past threatens her future. A woman Jay must now destroy at any cost-including exposing her darkest secrets.

But revealing the truth about Taylor's past draws them all into a game they are powerless to control.

Jordan should stick to England
Although I've really enjoyed the other books in this series, this one left me frustrated and wanting to throw things!

Jordan confuses American states and counties, apparently believing that a state Governor is the head of a county, and that he need not be a citizen of said county/state.

She has Americans talking about it being hot at 35 degrees (for those of you outside the USA, we generally give temperatures in Fahrenheit, in which case 35 degrees would be quite cold). She has Samantha going shopping (in America) for "french knickers" rather than panties.

Since I've never lived in England, I can assume she gets that right - after all, she does live there. Note: I would imagine that readers in England/Canada/France/Italy/etc. often have the same reaction to American writers who "get it wrong" about their countries. The moral? Writers should stick to what they know or have at least researched thoroughly!

Another Penny Jordan classic
Self conscious Samantha,(because of her height, 6 feet to be exact), is unsure of her feminity. Ridiculed by most men, she's in search of a 'perfect father' to give her a child, partly to prove her womanhood to the world, and partly because her biological clock has kicked in. So off she goes to England, from America, to try and meet some distant Crighton male relative (who, by the way, are all very sexy men known for their virile Crighton genes) to give her a child. Yup, in case you're wondering, this is a book in the 'Crighton' series, about a large family legacy, and their loves and lives. Anyway, she leaves, leaving behind her crush since youth, Liam, her father's assistant since her childhood and long time family friend. He never showed interest in her as a woman, but after Samantha's departure, Liam suddenly longs to be the father. The rest of the story is about Liam following her to England, and the both of them discovering each other as man and woman, not brother and sister or long time friends. Story is great, plot is great, people are great, and best is the attraction. Couldn't get a better book than that even if I had written it myself.

Well Written & Enjoyable
This is the only Penny Jordan book that I have read and I enjoyed it tremendously. A businessman by the name of Andrew Ryecart commits suicide and it dramatically changes the lifes of not only his widow but three other women. It was well written and never boring. The best part is that the author did a terrific job tying all the plots and characters together. There were no loose ends left so instead of questions you were left with an enjoyable read.

A great happy ending for a struggling Mom!
Instead of the usual nannies, working-mom Kate invited Rick Evans into the chore and then into her home--for the child's sake? This is a fun, easy-going story that leaves a nice fullfilling ending
that I won't give away.

I enjoyed these old fashioned stories of love and innocence
Penny Jordan has done it again ... using her tried and true formula of innocent virgins and mean but misunderstood leading men! The first story " Loving" is about Jay Fraser and Claire. It begins with a friendship between their two young daughters and soon blossoms into much more... The second - "Injured Innocent" tells of Lissa and Joel. When their married brother and sister are killed in a plane crash, Lissa and Joel are given joint custody of their neices .... the battles only begin there!! The last story "The six month marriage" tells of ex husband and wife Blake and Saffire. After several years of separation, they get remarry on a temporary basis when Saffire discovers her elderly father is dying. If you enjoy Penny Jordan, you will be sure to love these three classic Jordan romances

Good book
This book was good, just like all of Penny Jordan's novels. I can't get enough of her books, especially her longer novels. The main characters are well-developed and the woman has to pretend to be the mistress of some guy that spurned her cousin. She ends up falling for another guy who believes that she is a loose woman and they have a great rocky relationship. I love how there is always a great plot and the hero doesn't want to get involved for whatever reason and tries to deny his attraction for the heroine, but can't. She is a great writer. Highly recommend.

Getting complicating but still a great book to read
This book is good. I'm now waiting for story on Casper's, will there be one? I've read Perfect Marriage Material before I read Perfect Seduction (the book before) I found that by not following according to the sequence I'm a bit lost even with the family chart. I would prefer Penny to concerntrate on the romance instead and less on the family ongoing.

Great book, addict from first line
This is a good book, Bobbie has not a chance of escaping right from the first moment. Penny has arranged her destiny... Luke is a bit hot headed but that's where the excitment comes from.

Another Penny Jordan book worth reading.
Kate Seaton had left Silas 11 years ago. Now she was back and with the daughter he never knew about. Penny Jordan does it once again.
