Heart Aching Love Story!!!
This is the best book I've read written by Penny Jordan. The story is about a woman named Lissa who was very insecure about herself because she can never be Amanda. Amanda is her blonde sister. Her parents loved Amanda more than Lissa. There was an incident that happened when she was injured when she was 15 or 16. Her best friend invited her to go to her friends house to party. Lissa's parents told her "no" and added, "Why can't you be hang out with people like Amanda's friend?" She was really hurt because her parents only wanted her to be like Amanda--who hangs out with rich kids. Lissa sneaked out and came to the party. Everyone got drunk. And Lissa was lead by her crush and they lazily kissed--but nothing happened. Suddenly her father went in the room and found out. Joel--who was soon to be her brother in law was there to watch her embrassement. Her parents sent her to a boarding school. Now that Lissa is all grown up, she can't respond to any man. Kissing makes her sick, etc. She always sees Joels biting contempt. Amanda and her husband died in the airplace crash. Joel and Lissa are the guardian of the two kids. Joel has been in love with Lissa all along even before when they were young. Now, Joel suggested they should marry each other or else he'd marry another woman and get custody to the girls. Lissa accepted thinking that it will be a revenge that Lissa won't be able to respond to Joel physically. But she was wrong. The love story was great. It really hurt my heart. Lissa would always show her bad side in herself in purpose, blaming Joel, but really she was falling in love with Him. Read the book! My review doesn't describe quarter of how beautiful the romance is. I suggest you read this book, it is the most heart aching story ever!!

One of Penny Jordan's Best
Levelling the Score was a surprise, because it was very heartwrenching in the style of her earlier Harlequin Presents stories like BLACMAIL, well developed male and female leads, both very strong in their own right. I loved this story, and you will too.

I read this book some time ago. Is it being re-released?
Although I usually prefer historical romance, this contemporary love story is among my favorite books. I lent my copy, as I do all my favorite books, to a girlfriend and haven't seen it since. I have been trying to locate another copy, and was very surprised to see that it hasn't been published yet. The Love's Choices, (by Penny Jordan) I read, so many moons ago, involved a young lady raised in a private school/convent who is abducted by a business associate of her father's. After the usual struggles common to most romance novels,(you know the part we read them for) she ends up alone in the Silicon Valley or Wine Country with his child. Could anyone confirm that this is the story line of this soon to be released novel and if it will be available in Canada? Sherri

Penny Jordan+pen+love= 5 stars!
This is probably my favorite of all Penny Jordan books.
This is about Heather, who had a foster brother named Kyle when she was still a child. Thinking that Kyle was more important to her family because he's male, she hated him right from the start before even meeting him. She was jealous... because of that jealousy, she tried to commit suicide, not really intending to kill herself but to shake up Kyle and her parents. And she succeeded. She drove Kyle out of her home and out of her parents' lives. Now, 6 years later, Heather needed Kyle's help for her father's sake.
Well, its a good read. I just breezed right through it. This deserves 5 and a half stars but since 5 is the maximum, ill settle for that.

excellent, heartwarming, a book worthy of this author
Penny Jordon has once again given her readers a book to remember. I have enjoyed her novels for years now and see this one as one of the best. She has a style that reaches womens hearts and inner most desires. Again, her ability to make you laugh, make you angry, and of course make you cry for the heroine, is awe inspiring. Thanks

An Unforgetable Story
This is one of my favorite stories. At the age of 16, Courage, experience the passion one night on the arms of an unkown young man. Years later, she meets Gideon, her new boss, for whom she feels a strong attraction she hadn't feel since she was 16. But, Gideon knows who Courage is and wants for her to pay for what he has suffered, since he was fired from her family's house. This story shows that love has also a dark side, and that love always prevail.

A good summer read
I really liked this book. I have been a fan of Penny Jordan for awhile, and this book just proved again why I liked her. At the beginning, I was a little turned off by the main characters, Marcus and Polly. Marcus seemed mean and Polly just seemed too weak, but by the end of the book, I liked them more. It was a fast read, but enjoyable too.
Great read!
Another great book by Penny Jordan! Her sweet, poignant love stories just melts your heart.
Wonderful as usual!
Penny Jordan never disappoints. She is one author whose book you can buy without hesitation. The characters were beleivable and loved the fact that she recognized that just because you're over 35 means that u are sexually dead. It's a great book for the summer.
