This book is very good to understand the works of Wright. The biography put always in parrallel his life with his works, so it is interesting to understand why he makes one project or another at a certain time. the books has also a good selection of photography and drawings not seen in must of the others books.

Moby Dick and Frank Stella are both American classics. And in this book the author provides a thorough, informative and stimulating analysis of the Frank Stella "Moby Dick" series wherein Stella produced at least one interpretive art piece for every chapter of Herman Melville's classic novel. This is probably the most insightful description I have read for how a modern, abstract artist goes about putting his pieces together, what the artist is thinking, what the artist is attempting to communicate and how those thoughts are reflected in the abstract lines, shapes, colors and symbols. I have to admit that at times I didn't get all of the points that the author was making however this is to be expected when providing analysis of an abstract artist's interpretation of a challenging novel like Moby Dick. All in all, a must read for lovers of great fiction and/or modern art.

I ordered this book because i needed help understanding the calculations for the IHIT exam. since i did not know a lot of the calculations, and didnt want to waste the time trying to find all the information, i bought this book. the book spells out what each letter and number stands for. its very easy to read and the layout of the book is not confusing. The book also gives some background information. The book is bound with a plastic spiral and a some-what plastic cover. I found this a little awkward. Over all the information is great and it must have taken some time to put it together, but i think the price is a little high. But i guess you pay that for the convenience.

I haven't read the bible for 40 years. I decided to reread it, and found that even the new jazzy translations are often undecipherable. Most it them sound stupid, to be blunt.

I asked my pastor about a Bible Commentary. He suggested the Harper, which I found at a local bookstore. You need a truck for that one.

I simply wanted to know things such as "Who was Matthew?" and other minor, but interesting questions. And I didn't want to ruin my abdominal muscles carrying a Concordance or Commentary.

I find this took to be just about what I wanted. It's superficial, but good lord, to get all the material in the bible, with depth, you need a huge book.

In short, this is just right for me. It doesn't appear to be biased, it isn't filled with cloying hosannas to God. By the way the paperback version is a[lot less expensive.] [$].

A very good text book to learn about Earth Science

This book is a great ocean book for anyone who loves ocean. Anyone who wants to learn about the tectonic plates, or different ways that an island nation grows, this book is good for it. Its and excellent research book. This book is awesome. It tells tyou the highest mountain, and the biggest mountain. This is an ocean type person's book.

When looking at the PLOPD serie, it become obvious that material become more and more mature. We'll find in this book good design patterns we can directly apply in our everyday work. Yo will probably found that all patterns are not usefull, but only a subset, but it's however an enough reason to buy this book.

It is very colorful, which catches the eye of younger children. And it makes reading & counting fun with an added treat.

A storm forces Judge Dee to stay overnight in a Taoist temple. There he finds he must investigate the poisoning of one religious young woman, the disappearance of two other women, a possible ghost, a possibly murdered abbot, and numerous suspicious living men and women. All his questions are answered, but administering justice strains his moral code.

As casebooks go, its very readable, and along with an updated supplement, is a very good learning tool for 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendment issues
