Please let the flowers live
I cannot describe what I red by words. Johannes takes you on the wings of the story, where you sleep, dream, walk, work, suffer and die with his main characters. I have to say its been a long time since I red it, but I still feel like something from inside of me has gone away with the people in the story. I finally realized how cruel and unjust the world and people are. I dont want to be a part of it......I dont.........Read this book and you will see how it shapes your heart and feelings for yourself.................

A very dazzling tale of years past, spellbinding.
I found this book to be excellent. It takes several plots, and intertwines them to a point where it all becomes one storyline. It is impossible to sit and read only a few pages. Some content may be offensive to some, however.

Colditz: The Great Escapes
Published in Hardcover by Little Brown & Company (1983)
Authors: Ron Baybutt and Johannes Lange
Amazon base price: $14.95

Funny and fascinating
This book was wonderfully interesting, even for a person with a short attention span. It has the look of a magazine-- large pictures accompanying the text. The author writes about some of the more dramatic escapes from Colditz, the Germans' maximum-security WWII prison camp where all the best POW escape artists were held. The Germans faithfully recorded all escape attempts on film and the result is some great pictures, like the prisoner who dressed in drag to fool the guards (and was very nearly successful) or the prisoner who impersonated the camp electrician and was made to pose beside the real thing (in the picture, they look like twins.) I highly recommend it-- even if you're not interested in WWII escapes (and why not?) this book is fun.

Excellent Value
This fat Dover edition is an excellent deal if you're playing any one of these pieces. I think they reprinted the Breitkopf and Hartel edition, so every marking should be legitimate. Definitely a key component of the chamber music score library. And like most Dover scores, it stays open easily if you set it down- it's bound in such a way that it won't close by itself all the time.

An excelent edition of great concerti
This score is an example of Dover's excellent work. Any Dover score I ever perchased was a great buy, and this one is no exception. The instrumentation is listed on every line of music. The score is clear and very legible. I purchased it for excerpts for my orchestral auditions, but would certainly use it if I had to conduct any on the works in it. This score is a must for any aspiring conductor's collection.

Voelkel has done it again!
As the world's leading authority on Kepler, James Voelkel has once again demystified the oft misunderstood astronomer. While not nearly as accessible to the layman as Johannes Kepler : And the New Astronomy (Oxford Portraits in Science), it is a brilliant analysis of Kepler's work. It is not enough to read Astronomia Nova (1609), but to truly appreciate it one must look at the story behind it. And Voelkel takes us on that journey.

A must for all Kepler-philes and anyone else interested in seventeenth century astronomy!

Cosmo-Biological Birth Control
This is a wonderful book. It is written in a loving supportive way and provides a great deal of information. Even though the context seems very "new agie" it is full of research and makes sense. I have several friends in Germany, one of them a midwife, that rave about this book. Finally a way that is natural and very easy to follow, no matter if you are looking to become pregnant or looking for a safe, natural way of birth control. This book should be in every household! I love it!
