This book has very few recipes. It is a paper pamphlet, of the type put out by county extension organizations and definitely NOT worth the money(it's from the American Diabetes Association--you could probably get it for a much lower cost, if not for free, from them) However, it does give some interesting historical background of Cajun and Creole culture, as well as a pretty good definition of the differences between the two.

The art in this book was not like the art that you normally see on peoples nails... I bought this book and it gave a lot of information on the manicuring, but the thing I was hoping to find in it was nail art, and what I found was very dissapointing... So if you are looking for a book with lots of nail art ideas, this is the wrong book....

While this book has a lot of good, basic information on hand and nail care, it is all done in black and white. The only color photography appears on the front and back covers. Since it is a book on nail art, I would have hoped for directions, in color, for doing the nail art. For the price, it is still a good reference book for the beginning manicurist.

It had potential when it was new, but after using this book I've realized that a lot of the information is outdated after only one year. In short, websites change real fast.

The description of the book is misleading. This book is no where close to epic and Colette is not punished from one person to another. She is only punished by one person and she finds no pleasure in it. This is a miserable excuse for erotica and I can understand why the author wants to remain unknown.
