Chapter after chapter left me begging for more and longing to know the promises my Lord has made for me in exchange for the promises I make to Him. What is your inheritance? In Chapter One, simply put, "He longs for our latter days to be greater than our former days. God's plan for you "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." The hightlight for me had to be Chapter Six which included a nine-step process to help you secure your inheritance. It's not easy, it's a committment, and it takes some discipline. But anybody, absolutely everybody can do it and receive what God has intended personally for them since before the beginning of time. Also enlightening was Chapter Four, Glory to Glory. This chapter helped clarify my own experiences in closeting myself quietly in prayer, God's Words which burn into my brain and my heart, and the Holy Spirit, which I pray to work within me that I may lead a more Christian life. It includes quotes from such notables as Rick Joyner, C.S. Lewis, Dutch Sheets, Donald Whitney and my own Pastor, Jack Hayford. It also includes forwards by C. Peter Wagner and Cindy Jacobs. This book will leave you vibrant, radiant and ready to go to work for the success and well-being that is promised to you by the words of Jesus. Be sure to have your Bible beside you because there are many references that you will want to read to help clarify and yes, validate. Many things that Chuck Pierce said sounded too good to be true. But after reading them, then reading the Biblical cross-references, I knew that it must be true! Possessing Your Inheritance is an instructional book. Ms. Wagner and Mr.Pierce supplies its readers an outline on how to possess your inheritance. The book gives the readers instruction on how to possess all the Lord has promised. An eye opener to our position in Christ, the detailed steps on how to deal with the reader's issues in their life and the freedom readers acquire through all this wealth of knowledge.

My mother gave me this book when my kids were little. They are teenagers now and still love to hear the stories each year. It is a treasured family tradition that reminds us daily of the real reason to celebrate Christmas. I am ordering it now for my staff as gifts this year.

This abridged edition of selected passages is well done. The readers express wonderful emotion. The translation is fresh and I was touched. This is a great supplemental resource for anyone who loves the Word of God. This tape left me wanting more! I recommend this audiotape highly.

I bought one for my kids' sitter and she loved it. I wanted to make sure she knew what to do in case of an emergency and be equipped for the job. Everything is included in this guidebook. Its a must-have!

I suggest all parents get one for their child care worker or sitter. It has lots of information and things to do with the kids, instead of parking them in front of the television.

I have read just about every babysitting manual on the market and this is the best one! I think this is a must for every babysitter. One of the things in this book I really liked was the babysitter's backpack. None of the other books I've read have a list of cool stuff to bring on a job, like balloons, Bible, videos, art supplies, and more! I also really like all the awesome recipes. The "First Fruits Ices" and "Baby Jesus Salad" were terrific! And I loved the Bible themes which included songs and games to go along with the Bible story. It is a great book and all babysitters must read it!

This is a wonderful story of a man who made a difference in many slaves' lives. The side by side English/Spanish text is beautifully written, and stays nondenominational, even though it is the story of the patron saint of slaves. The illustrations are also lovely, and both the text and pictures hold the attention of my antsy son. One of his favorite books, it is a deeply moving spiritual story that I recommend to all.

This is a terrific example of a spiritual book for kids. The poetic text rivals that of the secular classics, and the pictures are rich, textured, and deeply moving. Yet there's no overt message, no preaching, no denominational stand. It's just a wonderful book -- period.

There is a lot of activities packed into these pages, and you can pretty much pick and choose how much of it you want to do. There are reproducibles in the teachers manuals of additional activities. I'm thinking of using it again next year with all the activities, and I should be able to turn it into our full Language Arts program. One word of warning, DON'T try to use this without the teachers manual, you will be LOST! I find the teacher's manual invaluable!

If you like Lord of the Rings thwn you will enjoy this book as well as the others written by William Burt. he is also a friend of mine. These books will keep you reading, full of adventure at each turn of the page!

As a three time teacher of the year I can fully recommend The King of the Trees for fun, adventure reading. The old theme of good vs evil is replayed in a refreshing setting. The plot and characters are believable and enjoyable. While the end is predictable to older readers, children will love this story. Parallels can be drawn between other good vs evil plots including: Lord of the Rings, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, and many Bible stories.

This is wonderful book that you and your children will absolutely love. We read this every night together before going to bed and every night I was begged if we could read just one more chapter. This imaginative book will draw you and your children in and you will love the characters you come to know and the places you will go. I highly recommend this book and we are anxiously awaiting another to follow.
