Apalachian writing at its finest!
This book is written so well I have read it many times. It is set in the depression era and brings you to that time with laughter and tears. Billy C. CLark describes small town living along the Big Sandy River which was once the cities life. I think people of all ages would love this heart felt book.

Love

Average review score:

Unconventional love in a conventional setting
Catherine is middle aged and Christopher a young man but she is brave enough to accept the challenge and the unexpected gift life has in store for her. Love is more important than the disapproval and the hypocrisy of society. An intelligent, well written, subtle novel, which is also extremely modern.

I love This Book.
A superb novel, one of my favourite book I have ever read. Jean Plaidy is able to convert history into an interesting book which people can get absorbed in without a problem. Its an easy book to read with treachery, murder and romance. It has a wide range of vocabulary and I have learnt many new words from reading this book. I recommmend this book for anyone over 14 years old.

Informative, insightful, occasionally iconoclastic
Gil Eyal, Ivan Szelenyi, Eleanor Townsley effectively collaborate in Making Capitalism Without Capitalists: The New Ruling Elites In Eastern Europe to offer a new and compelling theory regarding the transition to capitalism from previously communist/socialist economic systems. Of special note is the two-fold origin of those taking responsibility for the construction of capitalism: former Communist technocrats, and former dissident intellectuals. Making Capitalism Without Capitalists is informative, insightful, occasionally iconoclastic reading highly recommended for students of economics and contemporary Eastern European international studies.

a comfy,curl-up kind of book for you and your grandchild.
I am 46 years old and it caught the attention of the child within . Fantastic imagery!Coloful pages made for colorful imagination. I'm not one for fantasy, fiction or likewise, but this book caught my attention on the very first page. It is rather soothing, I'm sure I'll be reading it to my grandchild after the discomforts of a tonsilectomy. How could you not like it ?

Excellent
This is a great book. Brand new on the market, and just what's needed. It gives a great overview of meditation, and doesn't force you to think there's only ONE way of meditating (which there isn't). I saw an advance copy of this book, and just loved it. Will DEFINITELY recommend it to my customers, and I'm proud to have it on my shelves.
