A great additon to the AND BABY MAKES THREE series!
Sherryl Woods progresses the Adams' family bloodline into The Next Generation series of Baby Makes Three. In romance novels it is very rare that you can come into such an in depth series of family based storylines that tie generations together but also give each individual novel a life of its own. You can pick up the first book or the last book and enjoy it immensely with Woods' characters and plots, but when you continue with the series you feel a sense of family, belonging, and security in the circle of life. Well written and easy to follow and enjoy, I recommend this book highly to anyone.

What a wonderful read!
After her husband nearly ruins her life and career with his addiction to painkillers, Dr. Kelsey James gets a divorce and moves to Los Pinos, Texas with her son, Bobby. There, she helps Lizzy Adams-Robbins run the local clinic, and tries to rebuild her life. Then Bobby is kidnapped and Kelsey is desperate to find him before it's too late.

Private Investigator, Dylan Delacourt is called in to help search for the three year-old. Dylan suspects that Kelsey isn't telling all the information she knows. Since he lost his own son to his ex-wife when they divorced, he finds it difficult to trust Kelsey. But they will need to learn to trust each other with their secrets before they will be able to find Bobby.

Sherryl Woods always gives you something to smile about and warm your heart when reading her books and this series within a series is no different.

A lovely and healing romance
This was a wonderful romance of healing and learning. Dana was a woman desperately trying to escape an abusive past. Nick was the town contractor and a widow who everyone loved, with a son that soon brought Nick and dana together. Gun shy after her abusive marriage, Dana resisted Nick for all she was worth, but Nick was determined, and they soon were embarking on a very careful romance. The truth of her past finally came out and threatened their happiness, but by then, their romance was so real, there was never any doubt these two would end up together. Nick is such a wonderful sympathetic character that you really wish could really exist! Dana was a character it was hard to not cry for. This story really touched a chord and will for most women I believe. I highly recommend it.

Storyline ....
Since Amazon didn't post an editorial review for this book, here's the description from the back of the book to help you decide if this book is for you: Part of That Special Woman series -- it takes a very special man to win that special woman. "Overwhelmed by single fatherhood, widower David Winthrop feared he was failing his savvy, sad-eyed, ten-year-old son. Still, he never expected hotshot divorce attorney Kate Newton to descend upon him like some avenging angel, bristling with maternal indignation on behalf of Davey junior, her pint-size "client." Worse, David found himself itching to peel away Kate's power pinstripes ... But could this tough lady lawyer, so adept at wrenching marriages asunder, prove woman enough to make David's tattered family whole?"

A truly beautiful story
Trisha Alexander is one of those authors who can take your emotions on a roller coaster ride, and in A MOTHER FOR JEFFREY, she does that and more. This is a truly beautiful story about wounded hearts and second chances. A must read.

The Next Generation comes into its own
I read the first installment of Sherryl Woods' "And Baby Makes Three" series, so I was very excited to see the next generation up for some romance. As usual, Ms. Woods does not disappoint. Readers get to revisit the Adams of the first series--meddling, as usual--AND enjoy seeing their children find their way through their own romantic entanglements. Passion and humor are well balanced, and Ms. Woods pays very careful attention to each character's history. For instance, Dani's relationship with Duke's twin boys is all the more poignant because of her status as a stepchild. Looking forward to pairing off the rest of the family!

This book kept you in a good mood
I really enjoyed this book. As I said above, it kept you in a good mood while reading it. I hated for it to end. I'm sure it must have a sequel to it and I hope to find out tonight what it was. There was a lot of romance and mystery. That was a great combination. Usually there is a lot of mystery and little romance, but she had it all evened out. And the mystery was witty in a way. Anyway, This book is a great book to read.
