Sylvia Woods has done it again!
This volume includes forty-six fun arrangements of familiar Lennon and McCartney tunes. All are arranged for both lever and pedal harp. Some have only a few lever or pedal changes, while others are more involved. Chord symbols, all the words, and a discography are also included. This volume is highly recommended for intermediate to advanced students and professionals alike.

Simple lessons for young and old
I saw this book and just had to buy it for a friend of minewith a young child who loves Winnie-the-Pooh. I liked it so much thatI read through most of the book myself! There are many illustrations that are classic Pooh and his friends, plus excerpts from the Pooh stories as well as lyrics from Pooh songs. But the best aspect is that each segment ends with a little "thought" that serves as a lesson to be learned from the character's adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood. Perfect for bedtime stories or to teach young children to read. For Winnie-the-Pooh fans, this is a must to add to your collection!

Soulfelt and Honest
Luis Gonzalez Palma is a true artist with a beautiful sense of the people of his country. His work captures the heartbreak and passion that is Guatemalan indio culture and brings it into reality by using fantastical images and old time sepia toned style. One of the most amazing photo books I've ever seen.

Soth AfricanWoodworking Enthusiast
Books on small items, especially small wooden boxes are extremely rare in South Africa, and I was delighted to find one. My suprise was even bigger when I saw how carefully the book was laid out; the absolute detailed plan on the construction, and the clear photographs and cutting lists. As we are very fortunate to have a wealth of beautiful types of indigenous woods available, I can't wait for my order to be delivered.

Great book for mid-range woodworkers
The author has come up with a great set of toy sets: boats, trucks, planes, and houses. Each set has interchangable parts which kids can put together to create their own masterpieces.
Author assumes ownership of basic tools, drillpress, table saw, bandsaw, and in some cases a lathe comes in handy. I have all but the lathe and am having a lot of fun (and challenges) working my way through the sets. Note that not all of the above tools are required, but since he helps you create jigs to recreate your work, the advantage is to people who have them.
Some complex angles, tapers and cuts, but with patience all can be made either by hand or with standard hand tools (tough), or with stationary tools. Probably the drill press (or a good way to bore exact repeatable holes) is the most critical in getting great results.

How a literary subgenre came to be commonly accepted
In The Mechanics Of Wonder: The Creation Of The Idea Of Science Fiction, Gary Westfahl presents a sustained and documented argument for the importance of magazine editor Hugo Gernsback as being the true creator of what has become known as the science fiction genre. After initial chapters on Gernsback, Westfahl goes on to examine the way in which the Gernsback tradition was adopted and modified by later magazine editors and early critics., including a re-evaluation of the importance of John W. Campbell to the history of science fiction. The Mechanics Of Wonder will prove of immense interest to scholars of science fiction literary history and scifi enthusiasts with an appreciation of how a literary subgenre came to be a commonly accepted category of American literature and popular culture.

Mirkwood (Middle-Earth Role Playing)

Amazon base price: $25.00

Quality supplement
This book by Iron Crown is a quality addition to the middle earth roleplaying world - it combines excellent material with an easily understandable, logical presentation pattern. I personally find Mirkwood the most fascinating area of Middle Earth, and to be able to acts within it is great fun. Dwarf, elf or hobbit; no character should be without a bit of first hand experience under the portentious bowers of this ancient forest. If you only buy one supplement for the MERP game system, this should be it!

The whole family loves this book.
We have the Oceans and Jungles books in this series and I want them all. My 2 year old son adores them. He finds new animals all the time and likes to hear all about them. I think the books are great because they combine the fun of a flap book with the mystery of a puzzle. They are beautiful to look at and lots of fun. I wish they'd come back in print, though I imagine they are expensive to manufacture. We think they're worth it!
