Average review score:
The greatest fiction book out there today!
The characters in this book were great, they were decribed in full detail. The tranformation of one man, was a great idea, on the part of Robert Louis Stevenson. I would recommend this book to any, on any given day. The depth of the description was outstanding, Hopefully you will be lucky, like I was, and will get the chance to read this.

I didn't lay this down with a will
This is one of my all-time favorite books! Those who have read and loved RLS' requiem:
"Under the wide and starry sky,
Dig the grave and let me lie.
Glad did I live and gladly die
And I laid me down with a will.
This be the verse you grave for me:
Here he lies where he longed to be
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill."
will love this novelized recreation of Stevenson's last years in Samoa.

Good do it yourself
I'm sorry this book is out of print, I've kept it out of the library for 3 renewals. Although it is old, perhaps a bit outdated, I wonder why we don't find many of the ideas in ready mades today. The plans are excellent, and I'm going to move ahead and try to build my own kitchen cabinets.
Kidnapped And Catriona
Published in Paperback by Blue Unicorn Editions (27 July, 1998)
Amazon base price: $14.50

Practically Unknown Sequel to Kidnapped is Terrific
This combination of Kidnapped and it's sequel by World Books was fantastic. I never thought of Kidnapped having a sequel until I found this book. I realized how quickly and abruptly the ending was to Kidnapped and all of a sudden it fit. World Books made the stories easy to read. They had quotes, explanations, a mini encyclopedia, and a dictionary of Scottish words in the back for the use of the reader, and this being the second time that I read Kidnapped, I got a lot more out of it this time. I recommend that everyone to read these books. Catriona is a love story that really draws you in, and won't let you go

Revealing and vivid
This biography of the life of Robert Louis Stevenson reveals a man who escaped his Scottish town and family and went overland to California in poverty to reach his love, where he became a nomad, dreamed of being an explorer, and became instead a noted author. The myths and realities surrounding Stevenson's life and adventures are revealing and vivid in Callow's fine portrait.

Excellent practical cases from real life!
I require this text in my graduate New Venture course at Western Michigan University. The real life cases and fundamental concepts covered provide a great foundation for New Venture teaching. I also require my start-up consulting clients to read Chpt 1,2 & 3 along with the case study "R&R". Good way to find out if they have what it takes. I first used and enjoyed this book from the other side of the class during my MBA studies at the GSB - University of Chicago.

A Wonderful Information Guide to the deep!
Oceans is an excellent book starting with the "anatomy" of the ocean and ending with creatures and the future. I carried this book around with me for days jumping to where I left off every chance I got. It's a sensational guide to the mysterious deep!
