A different look at my postman
This book really open my eyes into the way the government treats its employees, not just postal but all civil service workers.I found the writers description of working conditions to be disturbing to say the least.Almost all of the postal employees I talked pretty much verifed what Mr.Smith talks about in this books.A pretty good read into whats goes on behind closed doors.

Very informative about the postal service.
Good first effort from this author, to write a book about his personal experience with the postal service. Even though it was fairly rough. I myself wanted to know why postal employees were killing innocent people. Even though this book doesn't justify those killings, it gives an understanding of the pressures that these men and women go through. Maybe one day something will be done about the treatment of postal employees.

WORTHWHILE INVESTMENT OF TIME AND MONEY
Very few surgical fields demand a complete and comprehensive knowledge of the entire human body. Plastics and reconstructive surgery is right up there when it comes to that. A successful Plastic surgeon incorporates knowledge of Gross anatomy, microscopic anatomy, tissue physiology, physiology of the patient itself and the innate aesthetic sense to recreate from tissue and prosthesis alike.

Grabb and Smith's text offers a comprehensive and engaging review of the essential aspects of Plastic surgery. Each Chapter starts with a review of clinical anatomy and leads on to Clinical aspects of diease. Historically important surgical approaches as well as current techniques are discussed. Disease classification is also described in excellent details through the use of tables.

I do firmly believe that this book is a worthwhile investment of time and money.

It has not satisfy the great advancement since last eddition
When I received the Book with Cd I thought that Cd will contain some interactive materials or MCQ self test kind. To find the CD as exact version of the book makes me wonder whats the idea behind.

Battery Technology
This book summarizes the current state of technology in secondary batteries. The presentation is brief, but to the point. All issues related to the understanding of current technology, and future possibilities for advancement are discussed. The reference material is on the short side. This book is an excellent choice for someone who wants to avoid excessive technical jargon, but get to the basic concepts. I highly recommend this book for someone who is starting in the area of automotive and other batteries.

A physician of all seasons
Dr. Gilbert Mason has written a book which not only stands as an important literary stone in the foundation of the civil rights movement, but also as a window into the humanity and "higher calling" of being a physician. As a white physician in Mississipppi, I was riveted when I read this book. The hardship which was endured by African Americans during this era is unimaginable, and it was only a generation ago. With eloquence and thouroughness Dr. Mason leads us through the origins of the civil rights movement specifically as it occurred in Biloxi MS. The racial hatred and violence which opposed his nonviolent protests and the fledgling Biloxi chapter of the NAACP is laid out for the reader with very good clarity. When I read this book, the secondary theme also jumped out at me, which was his constant pusuit of being a physician , specifically maintaing high degree of ethics, morality, and care for all patients black are white during this period of tribulation. I highly recommend this book to all.

Great for Kids!!
A heartfelt effort to reach young people and remind them that they don't have to make the mistakes that others did before them. It is easy to read for kids of all ages, takes them at any level and lifts them up to a higher standard, one in which the teenager feels like they can acheive. Adults should read this book with their children. Thanks to the author for his honesty!

For my 18 Month Old
I had seen this book featured in a parenting magazine and went home to Amazon and ordered it for my son and my cousin's son. It's a very cute book - excellent concept! However, at 18 months old, my son's more interested in trying to figure out how that darn ribbon works that's attached to the cube! I realize that's a start, i was just hoping for more. So the idea is great, love it but my son is a little too young.

Mystery fun for kids
Young Theodore Jones, called Jigsaw because of his love of solving puzzles and mysteries, (along with his friend Mila) is hired by his classmates to find out who the mystery author is who is scheduled to visit their school. Along the way they explore several meanings to the term "ghostwriter"! My 7-yr old first-grader read this book to me. It is listed here for ages 4-8. It's a great book to read to this age group, but he stumbled a bit with some of the term and really didn't get into reading the story with pleasure 'til he was well into it. He is an advanced reader, but even so I think I'll save the other Jigsaw Jones books for me to read to him for another 6-12 months when they'll be smoother reading for him. Don't pass up on these books tho, they're clever fun.

I think it is almost better than a teacher!
This book teaches all the places in dance but basically only in ballet but still it's one of the best books I've read. I'd suggest it for an age level of eight to about thirteen, it just depends how much you really like to dance!

DEEP STRIKE HITS HIGH IN ADVENTURE!!
Once again Mr. James Smith gives us another stripped down action adventure story of the 4-man team called Team Midnight.

This series doesn't waste any time in delivering the goods in terms of starting right off on the latest mission - or Event Scenarios - as they are called.

The best character surprisingly enough is the Gunny Sgt. called Night Runner. I can't seem to get enough of this awesome character. The leader Capt. Jack Swayne, though smart and tough and an interesting character himself, still takes a back seat to the Blackfoot warrior.

The newest member of the team is Greiner and so far, he fits in with the team. But with Mr. James Smith at the writing helm, who knows how long he will last. Thats one of the great things about this series - good guys die! This makes it all the more interesting and believable.
In this particular storyline, Night Runner makes a huge mistake on one of his teammates while out on a deadly mission.
The sniper of the group is taken hostage by a very smart terrorist and makes the simple mop-up mission into a deadly race.
This is by far one of the very best action/adventure series out there. I usually don't read this kind of stuff, but this was one great find and Mr. Smith has a huge fan in me.
This is a must read for anyone who reads sci-fi/fantasy heroic-type novels. Even they would like FORCE RECON!!
cAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT.
