This is a nice book.
It is probably not the best in the series, but my students love Froggy.

Love is in the Air.....
It's the week before Valentine's Day, and Froggy's in love. There's a new girl in his class, Frogilina, and he just can't take his eyes off her. He's mooning and staring and when she smiles at him, "his insides got all soft and wiggly, like he'd had caterpillars for breakfast." All week long Frogilina sits with him at lunch giving him little treats from her lunch bag. It's a match made in heaven. That is until Valentine's Day. Frogilina has an extra special surprise for Froggy, something he never expected. It turned his face red, it made his tummy feel weird, he couldn't eat, not even his dessert, and it made all his friends laugh and tease him. Frogilina gave Froggy a big, juicy kiss, right on his cheek..... Nobody captures the essence of an irrepressible preschooler like Jonathan London and Frank Remkiewicz. Mr London's joyful, spirited text is full of energy and sound effects, and begs to be read out loud. Mr Remkiewicz's bold, bright, and expressive artwork enhances the story, and together they use humor to take some of the mystery and embarrassment out of a real life situation. Perfect for preschoolers, Froggy's First Kiss is an engaging and entertaining story with a happy ending that solves all of Froggy's love problems, and a wonderful Valentine's Day read kids will want to hear again and again.

Froggy is back
This book is very cute. The story is entertaining and fun. I have loved the Froggy character ever since reading FROGGY GETS DRESSED. The illustrations are very bright and catching. The story about Froggy's first kiss could apply to so many childrens feeling as well as adults. How did you feel with your first kiss. My students love for me to do voice changes with the Froggy stories. I have reread so many of Froggys stories over and over to my students.

Just mailing it in at this point
The original "Froggy Gets Dressed" book was extremely clever. But this book is the weakest brand extension since Lego clothing. It includes the basic Froggy elements (sound effects starting with z, authority figures yelling "FRROOGGYY", and our noble protagonist turning more red than green) but you have to wonder when the most original part of the story is Froggy picking his nose. Of course, if your child likes Froggy and likes soccer they will love the book, but I wish the authors had put a bit more effort into it.

Froggy Plays Soccer
I would recommend this book if your child likes soccer or if you are hoping your child will like soccer, otherwise not such a great book.... I thought it was cute but definitely something a child who likes soccer can only appreciate

Cute!
An adorable book. Froggy books are great...if you like the others this is a must have; especially if you knwo someone who loves soccer!

A Cute Book
I read this to my kindergarden students who loved it. The book is a consciousness raising story for children about how to behave in a restaurant. From an adult perspective the author should have had the parents say at the end, "Froggy, we should have realized that you are not grown up enough for a fancy restaurant," since it was a mistake to take him; the ending would have made better sense. While none of the students said they thought Froggy was being rewarded for his bad behavior with a trip to "Burger and Flies", it looked that way to me.

Awww
This book is so darn cute. Kids probably love them, and if I were still a youngin' I would like these books.

My 2-year old loves this book!
This story tells the tale of the considerable agony that children go through when eating at a fancy restaurant.

While it is true that Froggy misbehaved, it's not true that he wasn't punished. He unknowingly punished himself by enduring the humiliation of his actions in front of Frogilina.

This is a brightly colored and captivating book, my 2-year old loves it.

Horrible Harry and the Ant Invasion
I give this book three stars because you enjoy it when you read it but it is not a book that deserves five stars.I recomend this book to somebody because sometimes you get board reading the same book there are four stories in this book and they are interesting because they have many details about the characters and when things happen that have to do something with them you wont think it is wierd.

Horrible Harry and the Ant Invasion
This book is about Harry and his classmates. They had a Show and Tell fun day, and one out of six students brought a container of ants into school. Harry dropped his container and there was an invasion of ants. A while later the teacher came in and screamed, "Ahhhhh!" Harry comes to the rescue. Read to find out how Harry solves the problem. This book reminds me of when I went camping and we had a snake attack.

Very Good
This book is very cute!!

not our favorite Horrible Harry book
We have read several Horrible Harry books in our homeschool before. My 7 year old son saw this audiobook at the library and we checked it out.

The book might be okay for some older children but I didn't like the fact that it had the guide on the field trip telling ghost stories. Other than that the book was fairly funny and cute. Young kids see enough scarry things on tv and I try to get books that leave that factor out.

Horrible Harry Moves Up To Third Grade
In this book, Harry and his friend, Doug, think they are on another planet because there were all new teachers at their school. I think children my age will like this book because it is very funny. I know that kids like comedy. My favorite part is when they go on a field trip to a copper mine. At the end, someone gets lost, and the teacher gets scared. Read to find out if they find the lost child.

Great Fun!
Horrible Harry is at it again...only this time he is a year older! With the lovable cast and crew along for the ride, Harry once again delights his audience with his creative adventures. Kline is clearly attuned to the way children think and communicate. A winner!

Read It!
What I mostly liked about it was it is funny. This book is about Harry and Songlee getting married on Valentine's Day. Of course you do know that they really don't get married. They called it the kick ball wedding and that's the title of this book. The funniest part, I think, is at the end of the book Horrible Harry at recess didn't finish the wedding because they went and played kick ball; they finished the wedding when they were lining up to go back into the classroom. If they made a sequel to the book, I would think that they would probably sit close together if they got married.

This is an Okay book.
This book is funny and so are the others, this book is a great book for young ones

Another fine book from Mathstart
My five-year-old found this introduction to subtraction entertaining. It has value for parents, as well, because it reminds them that the opportunities to play at math with children are everywhere, even in elevators.

Review of English version
As a Spanish teacher, I have used the English version of this book, _Froggy Gets Dressed_, with my own translations, as a story for the classroom and with a little neighbor. The tale always delights children and in the classroom, it serves as a meaningful and fun way to introduce or review clothing words. (Once students have heard the story, watch them wiggle in anticipation of the moment when Froggy's mother calls out a particularly embarrassing oversight in Froggy's preparations to go play in the snow!) A translation as good as this one is said to be can only enhance the story's value and fun for children.

Sorry it's out of print!
This is one of my daughter's favorites and mine too. Bubbly Katie turns shy and forlorn when Jessica Jean takes over the usual Saturday routine in the apartment building. But when Jessica Jean reveals a secret, she and Katie become friends and learn to share the Saturday routines. Charming. Nicely done. Find it at the library!

A Wonderful Book for Teachers!
This story is about a young boy named Ned. When Ned was oneyear old, his parents discovered that he had a special talent. Everytime Ned said a word that named a thing, the "thing" appeared over his head. When he said the word "gorilla", a gorilla would appear. This became a problem when Ned started to school. Classmates would yell, "WE CAN SEE WHAT YOU SAY!" The teacher became upset because very little work was being done in the classroom. In hopes of finding a solution to this problem, Ned was sent to the school nurse, band teacher, French teacher, and to the principal . As a last resort, the principal gave Ned a choice. He could stand in the hall or say nothing at all. It seemed as though no one understood Ned, until the art teacher came on her usual day. She knew why those things had shown over Ned's head. Do you?

A Note to Teachers: This book can be used to incorporate community within your classroom. This book reminds us that every child is different and has special talents. In order to meet the needs of every child, we must remember to include the arts in our teaching.
