The most revealing analysis of the assasination of JFK
This appears to be the real truth about the assasination of John F. Kennedy by the Mafia. After you read this book you will have a different opinion of the assisnation and the government along with the cover-up by the Warren Commission. Wait until you read the list of players and the evidence to back-up their stories. If this isn't the truth it sure is the most convincing lie I have ever heard or read. I found this book to be extremely interesting and so compelling that I am going to read it again just to clarify some points in my mind. If you have just the slightest doubt in your mind about the story of the assasination you'll love this one.

Defoe's sources for Robert Drury's journal
Published in Unknown Binding by Haskell House Pub Ltd ()
Author: John Robert Moore
Amazon base price: $75.00
Average review score:

Defoe may have written it, but the events realy did occur
Robert Drury was a 15 year old English sailor when his ship The "Degrave" ran aground on Madagascar in the early 1700's. All the crew were either killed or enslaved by the natives. After 15 years, Drury escaped and returned to England. He left this account of his adventure when he died. Some say his journal is fiction and is the work of Daniel Defoe. But "Sources for Robert Drury" tells how church records of the time list a person who's name was Robert Drury or Robert Jury, and who was not only born at the time of the protagonist, but entered the navy at the same time. A recent expedition to Madagascar found that all locations and historical references in the book are accurate. If Defoe realy did write the book, then he first heard the story from the real Robert Drury.

A superb introduction to stock markets, with history.
A surperb intorduction to the stock market, mutual funds & bonds including a very concise history of the U.S. Stock markets. Geared to the totally new investor, it even covers some advanced subjects like options and money management in very understandable ways. My favorite book to recommend when someone asks "how do I get started?"

Dr. C. Wacko's Miracle Guide to Designing and Programming Your Own Atari Computer Arcade Games

I used this book so much I litterally wore it out.
I was given this classic about 15 years ago. It was the basis of everything I ever knew about programming in Atari BASIC. Now I am learning Visual Basic and C++. All the basic concept I laened from Dr. C. Wacko still aply. It's unfortunate that due to the fact Atari BASIC and Atari computers have become obsolete, so has this hilarious and educatonal book. It's better than the "complete idiot's guide's" or "...for dummies" books could ever hope to be. Wouldn't it be great if David Heller wrote new books for current programming languages?

The Dramatic Works in the Beaumont and Fletcher Canon: Volume 10
Published in Hardcover by Cambridge University Press (1996)
Authors: Francis Beaumont, John Fletcher, Robert Kean Turner, George Walton Williams, and Cyrus Hoy
Amazon base price: $160.00
Average review score:

An interesting collection
Having taught B&F in my early 17th cent. drama class, I can recommend Wit without Money and, to some extent, The Wild-Goose Chase. I would not bother with Wife for a Month, one of the weakest and poorly written of their collaborations. Nevertheless, this is a handy book.

A medical educator and physician reviews this book
There are many books on the market that try to give both the starting physician and the experienced physician guidance on "current therapy", but most of them, I think, spend way too much time on diagnosis and not nearly enough time on the details of treatment - which drugs to use first, second, third, and in what dosages, and the rationale for choosing certain drugs. This book, Drug Therapy: Decision Making Guide, however, is written on the principle that most diagnoses a physician makes are reasonably routine, so it saves your time by getting right to the point - how to treat, with plenty of detail. I especially appreciate the fact that the authors back up their preferences with CITATIONS from the current literature. This is a great book for medical students, interns and residents to learn from, giving them guidance solidly based in the literature for effectively using medicines. This edition, written in 1996, is starting to get a little old in some areas and it really is time for the authors to update it, but, even so, it's still a good guide and is still completely up-to-date in most of the areas that matter.
