Very impressive compendium of Intranet information and the latest HTML techniques

I have been on the protein diet for nearly 4 years now and have been successful, however you do get so sick of plain old steaks. This book is a godsend. The first recipe in the book is from Emeril Lagasse and looks wonderful. That's the next one I am going to make.

I made the Strip steaks stuffed with Garlic and Creamy Chard. This recipe is phenomenal. This book is definitely worth every penny.

This is an excellent book for steak lover's. I had been looking for a book with different and exciting steak recipes. This was definitely it.

Mary Ellen developed a closeness with many of her young subjects,including Dewayne and Lulu.Dewayne hanged himself in 1984,and Lulu died in a fight with a man in 1985.Mary Ellen has dedicated her book in their memories.
Like every other work that she has ever created,this book is a keep-sake.I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the film documentary and in the author`s work.

This is the greatest book I ever found about ancient ship painting. It took me such a long time to find this kind of wonderful book. It is a must buy for a marine painting lover or artist

The clarity and color of the reproductions of marine paintings in this book are nothing less than superb. While the individual styles and, to some extent, the specific subject matter of the five artists vary, I find it impossible to single out any one of them as being "better" than the others. Each is a highly talented artist who brings the past to life in a most convincing manner. While men-of-war are probably the most frequent subject of the paintings in this book, merchant vessels and ships of exploration and even of pleasure are not neglected. It is pure joy to just leaf through this volume and gaze at the wealth of images. Anyone who is fascinated by the sea and sailing ships cannot fail to be enchanted by this book.

I first read this book about 5 years ago, drawn to it because of the appreciation of the investment prowess of the Author. I have long been a shareholder of the Templeton Funds. When I agreed to teach a class of 8th graders a "Career Exploration" class I knew this would be a 1st rate text. The class read the book over a period of weeks as we reviewed the book each class period. Each of them was then required to write a review. Each student gleaned different messages from the book. All spoke highly of it. It is my belief that it will continue to speak to them as they shape their careers and their lives. Personally, I can think of no better gift for a young adult, or for a foreward thinking adolescent, than this book

This book provides the reader with a clear description of the personal characteristics, attitudes, and behaviors that lead to a fulfilled life. Both of the authors relate these time proven principals with actual examples from Mr. Templeton's own experience in life. Area's covered include: Learning, Giving, Working, Happiness, Attitude, Investing in Life, Understanding, Loving, Humility, and other areas that lead to happiness in one's life. On a personal note, i am 28 yrs. old and am very grateful to have had the opportunity to have been exposed to this type of wisdom. This book makes a great gift, especially to those souls still searching for meaning, joy, and peace in their life on earth.

Most books covering the topic of suffering and God's involvement in His world and with His people can be placed in one of two categories. They are either (1) personal, experiential studies of the author's faith walk in a crisis or (2) reasoned, theological studies of the questions surrounding the existence of evil and pain. Experiential accounts or personal stories, although inspirational and effective witnessing tools, come up lacking in their limited scope and applicability to all readers. Theodicies and studies of pain and suffering, although sound teaching, come up lacking often as cold and impersonal in their aloof, clinical approach to the problem. John Mark Hicks' book Yet Will I Trust Him: Understanding God in a Suffering World is a rare work that does not fit into either of these categories. This book is neither a personal testimony appealing only to the heart and emotions nor a philosophical theodicy appealing only to the mind and reason. The work is a hybrid containing Hicks' personal experiences, emotional and faith struggles, and his search for understanding as a young theologian seeking to make sense out of tragedy and crisis in his own life and the lives of God's people. This book speaks to the heart and mind of the sufferer and those ministering to the sufferer. According to the author, this book is the product of twenty years of study and research in which Hicks taught graduate students, but behind each statement of rational, theological truth are the painful life experiences of the author. In April 1980 Hicks' wife of three years died at home of a blood clot following surgery. Hicks says at that time that his simple faith in God and scripture was tested as his and his wife's plans for missionary work and their lives together in service to God and God's people were destroyed. Hicks question was that of every suffering, lamenting Christian -- "Where is God?" (meaning the "good" God that he knew in his young faith). Hicks lists two other crises that have acted as faith-shaping experiences in his life: the death of his father in 1994 and the terminal illness suffered by his adolescent son. Fourteen-year-old Joshua is afflicted with a genetic disorder that has left him unable to speak and dependent upon his family for every need. It is obvious to the reader that his son's illness and the accompanying anticipatory grief over the loss of his only son have had the most profound impact on the author in his struggle to understand pain and suffering in the world. As he did at the loss of his wife Sheila, Hicks struggles again with destroyed plans. This time the destroyed plans are those he had for his son as a leader in the church. The author's thesis is that each person can only come to an understanding of the pain and tragedies of their individual life story by looking through the lens of what God is about: what God has done, what God is doing and what God will do. Hicks had originally named the book "What on Earth is God Doing?" By refocusing on God and His story, the sufferer can see how his or her story intersects with and is impacted by God's story. The result of this refocusing on God is peace, hope and a meaning in life that is not found in a fallen world reeling under the weight of unspeakable pain and suffering. Hicks goes through God's story using a series of eleven questions....

John Mark Hicks is a professor at the Harding Graduate School of Religion in Memphis, Tennessee. His first wife died after 3 years; his son has a genetic illness that will bring his death at an early age. Mix these two elements together and you see a scholar with a heart that knows pain and all the questions to ask God. Most books that I have read on human suffering are wrapped in emotion, but contain all-too-little real answers from Scripture. Not so with "Yet Will I Trust Him." This book brings help and healing for the mind and the heart. It digs deep into the heart and mind of God in the search for answers. But it also opens up the hurt of the wounded, broken heart so that others can experience the pain. John Mark Hicks has written a book that can help the hurting. But don't expect easy reading. The Scriptural thoughts are deep and require full concentration and continued study. But careful reading will bring abundant blessing.

This book is one of the most important books that I have read on the JFK assassination - and I have read over a dozen since 1964. It is the "final chapter" as it provides the "big picture" answer.

It uses the information that came out since the 1970s. The Congressional Investigation in 1977 resulted in a number of books afterwards.

If you read Curt Gentry's "J. Edgar Hoover, The Man and the Myth" you would know that Hoover had been filing false expense reports for decades, and built up a small fortune. (He stayed at hotels and ate at restaurants for free, then collected expenses as if he had paid.) If he ever left office, he would have been convicted for fraud, and died in jail. He had no other option but to die in office, since he could not (or would not) get a "get out of jail free" card. (The Watergate Burglary came apart when one of the burglars did not get this, as promised.)

You should know that this GOOJF card is not just an invented scene in the movie "Clear and Present Danger". Back in the 1940s the four-star General who headed the CIA went to President Truman with a complaint about an assignment: it clearly crossed the line into a felony. And LBJ's crony was implicated in various frauds, some of which were said to be in complicity with organized crime. LBJ was likely to be dumped as vice-president, and would also face prosecution, disgrace, and jail.

Mark North has collected a number of letters that passed between LBJ and JEH. Surely no one would expect either of them to put their plans in writing?

If you are a newbie this book will save you a ton of money and hours. Spoonfeeding at its best. High repetition ensures high retention rate. Reads like Decameron. Very easy. Most importantly, the author doesn't try enforce his authority in the field by savouring Confusion which is a second name of Unix. Enjoyable from the first page to the very last thanks to contageous easy going atmosphere. John would make a good movie director or an orchestra conductor.

Plain and simple, this is a book that you have to read again and again and again just for good measure. One cannot possibly appreciate modern American literature as it exists today without reading Huck Finn. Twain's style is one-of-a-kind, and his keen sense of politics and history is one that rarely exists in modern times. Get past the racial implications of this book and look at what Twain is -saying-. Huck Finn is a character who is a rogue, a modern scoundrel; however, we trust his moral judgement and are able to look inside another time and place through his journey with Jim up the Mississippi. So get out your maps and notebook and enjoy Twain at his finest.

Frequently forgotten or misjudged, this book provides one of the most hilarious plots ever written. The "common sense" of Huck is always fighting for bring Tom's lunacies to Earth, but the question is, why should we do that? Tom's reveries are the key for happy travel with a sane state of mind, providing the key which erase the nuance between what should be and possibly, what actually is. A delightful book.
