Brilliant Book for New Lovers
...Mr. Masterton takes into mind not only women like me but also women who are recently divorced or split from their boyfriend and gives each of us tricks and advice that really teaches you how to make love to your man for the first time. How to please him and make sure you are still enjoying yourself.
I would recommend this book for anyone who wants help on how to handle starting a new sexual relationship whether you have prior to now or never have before. It is an excellent book.

Another Winner
Graham Master wins again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, as I have all of Graham Masterton's books. He is an inspiration to anyone who wants to transform their love lives, and their relationships. He has been instrumental in doing this for me and my husband of 25 years. I cannot tell you how much his books have meant to us, it is like we are on a second honeymoon, and our relationship is brand new again. I owe it all to Graham's books, they are truly a work of art, I am anxiously awaiting a new book.

Satanic
Can anybody tell me why Graham Masterton is not well known?. I have read hundreds of books and Masterton has to be one of the greatest Authors I have ever encounted. I read Black Angel when I was 18, and I can honestly say it is the only book I have ever read that seriously scared me. I mean I couldn't sleep, I was prowling about the house, looking behind doors, and checking locks. Increadibly graphic, Masterton describes scenes of mutilation and torture so vividly, you actually feel it, I mean it is a struggle to read through it, but even though it is so disturbing you can't stop yourself, you just have to find out what is going to happen next. Masterton combines mystery, magic, sex and fear in a spellbinding way that will leave you begging for more and at the same time, cursing him for scaring you so bad. Satanically good.

This collection consists of the title novella and three short stories all previously published, but each contain the trademark chilling suspense that the audience expects from grandmaster Graham Masterson.

Best of the Web in Print!
I love horror, always have. But I have gotten tired of the traditional writers. You know the ones, they're the ones you see on the book shelves at every book store. I think it's time for some new blood in horror and with Cold Storage that is exactly what you will receive. Cold Storage showcases some great stories of imagination and fright. Cold Storage is a great book, one I recommend to anyone who enjoys horror.

Flights of Fear
Published in Hardcover by Severn House Pub Ltd (1995)
Author: Graham Masterton
Amazon base price: $20.00
Average review score:

The world's worst fears are amplified in this book!
From the beginning, you are entrapped in the fears of the story teller, whether it is a small girl who has encounter the infamous Manitou or the chef who incites himself in the creation of a gastronomic event. Masterton has done his best in creating a menage of short stories with twists and turns that excite and frighten at the thought. The book itself is well written leaving the reader amazed at whether this is the writers imagination or is it true. The underlying fears are true enough as we have all experienced them or at least know about them, but the worst part is the events and the mad psychosis which exists in some of the characters, does actually exist. Is Masterton opening our eyes to the sad and depraved world we now live in. Is this no longer fiction or Fantasy?

Great book - same book as Night Warriors
This is the same book called Night Warriors. I guess the publisher changed the name originally called Nightspawn and changed it to Night Warriors at later years. This book is prequel to Death Dream book by same author. The story consists 4 heroes fighting againt evil in someone's dreams. I still use one of my favorite characters in the story as my screen name.

Plague
Published in Paperback by Ace Books (1981)
Author: Graham Masterton
Amazon base price: $2.95
Used price: $9.94
Average review score:

Excellent thriller from a master of horror
Graham Masterton, while most known for his horror novels (The Manitou, The Djinn, The Sphinx, etc.), wrote a number of thrillers early in his career. Plague is one of those and it is also one of his best works. While the overall premise *may* be a bit farfetched, it is still a highly entertaining read.

The novel centers around a plague started from contaminated waste located off beaches in Miami. The plague starts slowly, only infecting a few, but eventually explodes throughout the city, eventually across state lines and further. The novel has two parts -- the infection followed by the survivors trying to stay alive while trying to find a cure. The ending is somewhat unique and leaves something to the imagination of the reader.

The book is currently out-of-print, but can probably be found in used book stores or from various websites that sell used books. If you can locate a copy, grab it, read it, and enjoy.

A Roller Coaster Ride of the Cold War Kind
From the first fifteen pages Masterton grabs you by the collar and shakes you about roughly as he takes you through an espionage thriller of the best kind. Masterton's plot takes us from the death of a secret agent in Belgium across the globe as a plot to end the cold world unfolds between the United States, Great Britain and Russia. Planning to divide the planet evenly, the three super powers agree to hand over certain territories, like Europe, for a little give and take of territories aimed at ending the cold war once and for all. As agents and innocents begin to see the writing on the wall all hell starts to brake loose. Agents start fleeing, dying, getting nailed to walls just for their advac knowledge of the game that's being played. If you like cold war thriller's you'll love Sacrifice.

Fast moving and full of surprises
I was pleasantly surprised with how great this book is. It's full of haunting set pieces that will stay with you -- to describe them at all will ruin the thrill of surprise for you (and there are a host of nasty surprises throughout the book). I was reluctant to start this novel, thinking, "What can he possibly do with the haunted house theme that we all haven't seen before?" Well, Masterson has come up with something new here -- a fresh twist on the traditional ghost story, with lots of interesting ideas and a terrifying villain that you won't soon forget.

I read many horror novels each year -- it's one of my favorite genres. Like many reviewers here on Amazon, I'm always on the lookout for something I haven't seen before, something exciting and original that will have me flipping the pages as fast as I can. By that standard, this book delivers. It's my first book by Masterson, but it definitely won't be the last!

Singing the praises of Masterton
I've been a fan of Masterton's for many years (every since I read his incredible horror novel "Mirror") and consider him one of the absolute masters of the genre. "The House That Jack Built" is another outstanding contribution and a great read. A young couple decide to refurbish a huge mansion and in the tradition of King's The Shining, the protagonist's husband is drawn into it's dark history where a great evil seems to have transcended the very fabric of time. Fast moving, full of dark details, believable and smart characters, I highly recommend horror fans seek this book out. I also recommend the aforementioned "Mirror", along with "Walkers", and "Manitou".

a good horror book with teeth
This book is a good book from the master(ton) of horror. All the element that we search in this kind of book are there. All fan of Koon or King shoud read this book because its really more scary then any books from this author. In other case, this one is not the better book that Graham had wrote. Sometime this book seem to be a pale copy of one of his other book call Apparition. This last one is far better. Be sure to read other book from this author like Master of lies & House of chair.
