I have read all three books in this series,and so far their the
Best "EVER!" I can't Put into words how much I love these books.
I have trouble finding horse books that put God Related stuff in
them.So I fell in love with these books.I am counting down days
till "Unhappy Appy" book #4 comes out in April.I LOVE these books
SO MUCH!!!!!!

I read some of Dandi Daley MacKall and loved them. I saw thi one in a store and thought I'd check it out. This book rocks! If you liked these books you should read Horsefeathers.

I love the Winnie The Horse Gentler series. They are the best!
There is nothing that I don't like about them! Dandi Mackall is the best author yet!~

I loved this book! I felt like I was there watching the story unfold right beforee my eyes. i could feel Scoop's excitement and relate to the story. I recommend this story to horselovers everywhere!

I love this book! I started to read it and I cuold never put it down is finished the book in 2 days. I you love horses you will love this book.I don't want to tell you what goes on in the book so it will be exciding page turning book for you too!

With all of the talk about children and violence these days, it's so refreshing to see that children still have faith. Each child's individual account of how they imagine God is so touchingly innocent, I waivered between chuckling and happy tears. This is a perfect gift for Mother's Day to show moms that their religious influence can make a difference!

This is a book to give as a gift to someone you want to make laugh and still get to the essence of who God really is. The child like perception of the greatness of God revealed by children all over the country is expertly compiled by the author in a clever , uplifting way. The childlike faith expressed in the book will hopefully "rub off" on the adults and children alike who will be reading the different comments in the book. I have read all of Dandi Mackall's books and this one continues in the excellent tradition that has made her an outstanding author for Christian children's books!

I'm always amazed at the wisdom in what kids say. And the author has collected some of the best insights I've ever seen from kids. I especially liked the comment that there are so many people talking to God and he doesn't even have call-waiting! Humorous and insightful. A great little gift book or stocking stuffer for the Holidays. I've purchased seven for gifts already!

This book is SO good! The entire series would be an awesome Christmas/birthday gift! It gives Christian values, with added horse bonus, and real life expierences, Winnie is a young girl with a dead mother, whom she wishes to follow, and so she gentles horses,these books are written by Dandi Daley Mackall, a wonderful writer, enjoy this book, and all others, with Christian values and horses!

Winnie tries to adjust to her 7th grade year in a new school. She wonders why her sister Lizzie always finds it so easy to make friends, when she would rather talk to horses than people. Winnie thinks the only way she can fit in at school is to train a horse for Grant Baines, the most popular boy in school. But she only has one week in which to do this. Will she have enough time? Readers will find that once they start this book, they won't be able to set it down. And when they do finish EAGER STAR, they'll know they need to read the whole series!

Written and illustrated well. Great to have a chance for children to learn to read and learn Christian principles at the same time. I would like to see more of this author's works on Amazon. con.

I want to complement Dandi Daley Mackall's children books. I have been reading her titles for quite awhile, and really enjoy the reading and illustrations. Her books are great for children and families alike. The stories are ones we all can relate to, and they send a strong Christian message we all can learn from. I noticed that you carry a few of her titles, but would love to have access to more of her books through amazon if possible. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Every night we read this book to our two-year-old son. We read it to him before he takes a nap. We read it to him to get him back to sleep if he wakes up in the middle of the night. He loves it. The book is straightforward but very cute.

This is a delightful little book to read to a child at the end of the day. The charming illustrations and sweet rhyming text are comforting and upbeat. Everything about nighttime is considered a special gift from God, taking away the fears some children may have. Great book to give as a gift, too!

Something is the matter with Scoop's friend Jen Zucker. She has been sick all the time lately. Scoop is worried about her. Jen's brother Travis is worried about her too. When Scoop finds something in Jen's coat pocket she is really upset that Jen would do something like that. This book was sort of a mystery. This series is really good and there are 8 books in the series. I love Scoop's horse Orphan. My favorite characters in the books are Scoop, Jen, and Travis. My favorite horses are Orphan and Cheyenne.

All out of the mouth of babes! The imagination and purity of the children interviewed create conclusions that will tickle you pink! For anyone who has kids or adores kids, this book is a must!

This is a most amazing book! I have purchased it over the past few years for "little gifts" and each time, the recipient has been thrilled with their gift. Children see God through different eyes than adults see Him. It was a thrill to "re-live" some of my own childhood thoughts on God. This book is a MUST and it is a very inexpensive and much appreciated gift item.

This is a very cool book about a girl named Winnie that trains horses. Her friend's Grandfather owns a circus with lots of horse acts, including a cool Cossak act that includes a black morgan stallion named Midnight Mystery and his owner, Ramon. This book is a great idea. Place your favorite childs picture in the covers and you'll be a favorite. Your child is Goldilocks on every page. The theme is cute and enjoyable. Every child would love it. I wish I had one when I was a youngster.
