Stumped on what to buy for a child's birthday party, I turned to the idea of a book, because the child's family strongly encourages him to read and has an extensive library full of children's books. They are also a very Christian family, encouraging their son to learn about the religion. This book was ideal, because it was unlike any book he owned, incorporating his own image into the story. By placing a picture of the child in the back and the front, he is in the center of the story throughout. The book reads like a poem and will hold the child's interest due to the personalization of the story. It is a fun way for a child to learn about religion and was a big hit with both my friends and their son.

Winnie falls off and and becomes terrified of the high hedge. Finally, with the help of God, faces up to her fear and jumps with God riding double!

Scoop thinks she has found her birth mother in this book. Her name is Twila Twopennies. In the book before Home is Where Your Horse Is Scoop helped deliver a foal. Twila bought the foal and Scoop went to her farm to help. She found out that Twila had a baby the around the same time Scoop was born and she gave it up for adoption.
