Everyone loves it!
The Little Book of Wisdom is great. I love to flip to random pages and read the quotes. It always makes me smile. I have yet to be disappointed! It is also a great gift. Everyone loves it!

A successful gift book every time! Everyone loves it!
I have given The Little Book of Wisdom to many of my close friends and buisness associates. Each person has formed their own personal attachment to Richard's collection of affirmations. You'll find yourself smiling or even laughing out loud at the adorable drawings that illustrate each and every quote. I've ordered 5 at a time and I keep them at home, ready to give as a spur of the moment gift. Great for the person who has everything.

A Thought Provoking Little Book
I found this book to be an easy read and very thought provoking. The experienced metaphysical person as well as the novice will extract many practical ideas and thoughts. I will pick this book up many times, reread parts and always feel more balanced for doing so. I especially found the breathing exercises to be of tremendous help to relieve stress and to keep the yin/yang in balance.

A book for balance...
Having literally just finished this book, I find my mind a buzz with thoughts of how pervasive the yin and yang concept is. I found the examples of yin and yang scenarios very concise and well thought out, and very much a catalyst for healthy tangential thinking, or simply great mind fodder for meditation. Mr. Lawrence has written a wonderful little book that is definitively succinct, I greatly admire those that have the ability to enlighten with little verbosity. Cheers to the truth!

Perfect for young children
My friend bought this book for her son and I was reading it one night and was amazed at how accurate and easy for them to understand it was. We are picking one up for our 3 1/2 yr. old son.

Great for beginner readers
This is a great Bible for kids that are just starting to read. It reads like a Bible storybook but contains all the facts and goes through the entire Bible. Very thorough yet, holds the interests of young ones.

A big hit in our household !
Our 18-month-old can not hear this being read enough. We must read it 5 times a day or more, maybe much more, with him asking/signing 'more' again. The illustrations, as can be expected, are excellent. Best of all, from a parents point of view, is that it teaches the importance of manners.

Given the lack of manners that I often see on playgrounds (by parents!) I think that it is imperative that good manners be drilled (there is the 'd' word) into children when quite young. Good social graces are usually a surer factor of success in life than extra points on an IQ test. There is a plethora of books out about raising bright kids, but markedly fewer about raising polite kids.

I picked this title up in a supermarket on a whim, and found it a favorite with our little guy, who already likes to say "please and "thank you" as well as "How do you do?". Buy it.

cute and fun to read, and also teaches good manners
Cute Richard Scarry pictures are always fun for children, and this book combines the fun of Scarry's cartoon animals and vehicles with many tips on good manners in several different situations. Needed by many of today's children.

Love the big band singers.
My parents alerted me to this book. It's different, as the singers of today do not sing songs. They talk to a beat. Connie Haines sang with Tommy Dorsey's fine orchestra when Frank Sinatra was also a singer with his band. They did lots of duets together. I think that Helen Forrest and Connie Haines were the two best singers of those big band days. Her's is an interesting story that stresses her religious faith and how she overcame distress in her life. The photos are great, too. I understand she is still singing today with the same gusto. A friend recently saw her perform in Atlantic City with a World War II type review. Her good friend Jane Russell penned a foreword.

It's That Snootie Little Cutie
I am the author of Snootie Little Cutie. Connie Haines is the best singer of the big band era. At seventeen she sang shoulder -to -shoulder with Frank Sinatra first in Harry James' band, and then they both joined Tommy Dorsey singing with the Pied Pipers, Buddy Rich, Jo Stafford, all members of the great showcase band. Connie lives in Florida and still performs. Her friend Jane Russell wrote the foreword. This book will transform you back to the Big Band Era with over 100 photos. Connie later toured with Abbott & Costello on their radio show, and also toured with Jane Russell, Rhonda Fleming, & Beryl Davis as Les Girls, singing bible songs on a nationwide tour. "You will learn a lot about this honorable, faithful, fun-loving, talented, crystal- chanddelier-loving Southern Belle," according to Jane Russell.

Animal Sounds
This is my 18 month old son's FAVORITE book! His grandfather read it to him for the first time a few monthes ago and he LOVED it...we've gone through two copies already (they've been worn out by pure love). He knows the name and sound of each animal and it now keeps him busy on his own for hours, it was truly the book that made him love reading!

Historically Significant
Even though I know all the writers of this book, I'm still NOT biased when I say that Scotts, et al book has changed interpretation dramatically on the Little Bighorn fight. Having worked at the Little Bighorn Battlefield as an interpreter in 1985, I personally know how this interpretation changed, i.e. before the archaeological digs of 1984-85, most of us believed that Custer's men fell mostly to arrows. We now know that the U.S. soldier's were outgunned, thanks to this field work and as reported in the book. Since Scott's final report, headstones on the battlefield marking where "unknown soldier's" fell have been replaced by actual names, e.g. Mitch Bouyer. This reality came to place thanks to the forensic work of Dr. Clyde Snow (his complete report is included in this book). Finally, Scott and his team create a vivid picture of where the Indian warriors moved over the battlefield fighting for their families down the hill and across the river.
