I had gotten the balloon animals and more balloon animals books and had gotten good at making those characters, so I thought I'd give this book a try. It's terrible. Compared to the previously mentioned books, the instructions are awful and the guides miserable. Avoid this one. ...

This book tries to cover a lot of ground with only a few pages. The result is a cursory look into the art of balloon sculpting. It contains a brief section a few basic twists (fold, pop, tulip, ear...) then proceeds into a nice little section with some basic and some advanced animals (Dog, Horse, pig, cat, teddy bear, dragonfly- my favorite, dragon, stegasaurus, scorpion, and a very basic fish.) Following the animals the book goes into basic flowers, palm tree, and the tulip. Next is a small section containing the motorcycle, airplane, spaceship and "silly figures" which is basically a latex glove and a sharpie marker. This is followed by basic decorating items, chains, braids, a nice spider and web, and a decent decorating flower. Then there is the section with basic hats and some fun ideas for baloon costumes for children. The book ends with some ideas for baloon playhouses which are simple cubes made with the larger 350 balloons. It also contains some games such as the ring toss and a nifty trick with clear baloons and small loose balloons inside them. All in all it is a great resource for beginners, but those with more experience will find over half the book useless unless you want to pick up a few new twists and don't mind the price. If you're just starting out then this is a great introduction book. Even if it doesn't contain the essential Toe Twist.

I started twisting at my child's birthday party and, now I'm hooked. I wanted a book with good illustrations and instructions, and this is it. It has 5 difficulty levels and special tecniques.I don't have all the balloon sizes needed , but most items are made with 260 's(the regular long twisty balloons.)I have not been able to make the two-balloon headband, and I can't figure out why. It's only a level one, but it won't stay together. My cousin, who has a Harley, liked the motorcycle (it's a level 5 ).The flower and sword are repeats from another book, but these are more detailed. Have Fun !!!

I bought this book expecting big things after reading some of the other reviews. I was both disappointed and disgruntled when I received my copy. It looked far too thin to contain everything it stated and I do feel that much better information is available free of charge on the Internet. I would advise anyone thinking about purchasing this book to think twice or be prepared for a disappointment.

I know Mr. Levine is making a mint off his address book franchise, and good for him, but here's he's really stretching it thin. The slim book is not nearly comprehensive, nor could it be. I don't get the point. Go to your library, or HMO, or the Internet for better listings.

I am familiar with Levine's Address Book series, and have found this to be another empowering, comprehensive resource to add to my bookshelf. The thousands of listings provided are well-organized, clear and accurate. This is a book I have not only read, but used. All the data given allows me and my family to make well-informed decisions about our health care and prevents us from ever being taken advantage of by those more knowledgable than ourselves. I strongly recommend anyone seeking better health care choices to buy a copy.

I'm thankful that I read through this book before letting my 10-year-old son get hold of it. This is supposed to be an address book FOR KIDS, to enable them to get into the hobby of getting autographs, etc. Imagine my surprise to find addresses of Sirhan Sirhan, Erik and Lyle Menendez (complete with the listing of their claim to fame, "convicted of killing parents", and Cindy Margolis, complete with website address. These are just several examples of inappropriate material in this book. Come on, is this really necessary in a book for kids?

I bought this book for my daughter to use.She needed help with her writing and I thought this would be the perfect tool for her to use.By writing to celebrities and getting their autographs,I thought it would keep her motivated. So far,of the three she has written she has had two returned in the mail for the wrong address.What a waste of my hard earned money.You would be wiser to save your money and surf the web to find the addresses.

I think that the book has alot of adresses of people from billy Idol To Steve Young. You get alot of replies from the people you write to. I thought it was a really good book for people that might want to be in fanclubs. If you get it I hope you enjoy it.

There are lots of much better books on the subject of leadership. For example, read "The Leadership Challenge."
