"Hounded!" is Adorable!!
This is one of the cutest little books in the world. The lovable Animaniacs characters Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are grooming and having fun with a bunch of pretty pooches once they get a job at a dog grooming place. They go through a car wash with them, have a pizza party, and make them look gorgeous in a cheesy way-which the owners turn out to love. Anyone would like this amusing story.

Great Book for Kids
My mother bought this book for my son, to start a new family tradition. Every Christmas, my mother would read me the Poky Little Puppy and now she reads this book to her Grandson.

It is cute to see what trouble the puppies and The Poky Little Puppy get into while trying to have a good Christmas. I would really recommend getting this book, plus the other Poky Little puppy book, a great collection to have.

A wonderful little book after a long cold winter!
We found this book ...just as the daffodils and forsythia were starting to flower. My 3 yr old sons and I went on a treasure hunt for more signs of spring, without much luck. A couple weeks later, as the weather warmed, we tried again. This time, we pretended to be the characters in the book, Lucy, Henry and Zack. Like Lucy, I definitely get spring fever, so I was thrilled to lead them in their search for flower buds on trees and bushes, feathers, new grass, moss, and dandelion flowers.

"Signs of Spring" is a beautifully illustrated book, with forest animals as the main characters. It is a perfect introduction to spring and the changes occuring in nature for preschool age children. For the young elementary child, it might inspire a perfect show and tell presentation. And for everyone, it is a welcome reminder that no matter how long and dark and cold winter seems, the bright and fresh wonders of spring will always appear!

great book, for 4 to 6 year olds
My kids can't get enough trucks, truck books, construction videos... you get the idea. We've read practically everything out there for toddlers, which is all pretty much the same - loaders, cranes, backhoes, loaders, cranes, backhoes. Frankly, they've advanced beyond simple descriptions of machines. So it was refreshing to find this book which is loaded with information about how a tall building is built. It tells the story from start to finish, from the surveyors at the beginning, the welders in the middle, the utility workers at the end and lots of machines throughout. One caveat: this is NOT a "baby-preschool" book. It is really for 4 - 6 year olds (possibly even older) or preschoolers who are ready to jump a level of sophistication. For example, it explains the difference between the live load and the dead load that the building must support, and why steel frames allow people to build so high. Lots of big words are used without introduction, like architect and pyramid. My almost 4-year-olds get it, but they wouldn't have a year ago. If you are looking for a different type of construction book, or need to provide your young child with new, more advanced construction info, this will fit the bill.

Fun to read and look at
I received this book for my 20 month old son as a gift. He just loves it, every page has a character that moves, and the story is short and perfect for bed time. He loves to just look at the pictures and move the tabs by himself. I had to get another one because of ware and tare, the book is constructed well and pages are heavy but because of constant reading and pulling the tabs we needed a new one. We love this book so much I decided to get Who Lives In The Ocean.

I love the book so much I could read it over and over!
The characters are three boys, a Mom and Dad. The boy's names are Marty Junior, Mark, and Marshall. Marshall is the youngest he is 12. It takes place on a farm near Fort Smith, Arkansas. Thats way over by the Oklahoma boarder. Durring the summer of 1967. I think it is a very good book because it is one of those you can tell what happens next and I like it alot. I also like the chareters that are in it, like J.T.T.
