A great Atlas
It's concise and fits the needs of those less familiar with the topic of neuroanatomy but the level of detail serves as a great source of reference for the more advanced individuals.

The first truly comprehensive medical textbook I've seen.
I first came across this book last year when I was feverishly studying for my 4th year medical exams. What really excited me was that I could look things up in the index and actually find a paragraph or two explaining my query, no matter how obscure the reference. Textbooks like Harrisons baffle me; why would I want to spend 45 minutes looking at the ten different times my word has been mentioned when all I want to know is what it means and when its important.
Anyway I think this textbook is very well set out and thouroughly comprehensive. Obviously its not a bed-time read, but its really helpful when you're stumped by a fact in a multi-guess paper or you have some obscure fact to look up and present to your consultant.
I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars. Right now I'm waiting on the next edition....I hope it comes in soon.

One of the Greatest Books of the Late 20th Century
Author Richard Grimes speaks truth in a way that so very few dare. He touches on the much under-documented Rockefeller Administration during the 70s and 80s in poverty stricken West Virginia. In this feeble age where family dynasties permeate our American landscape, the Rockefeller name is no small player in the game. One could never know just how powerful, and yet decievingly humble the now Senator Jay Rockefeller was during those dusty days of Mountain State politics. Grimes shows what those in West Virginia must have known for decades: Rockefeller played savior to a needy state, but only got as far as his family dollar would allow. Grimes' evenhanded, yet painfully honest writing represents last from a rare breed of 'old school' journalists. The writing in this book is some of the best that this generation has to offer. His work continues to serve as an inspiration to me. Kudos Grimes!!!

Reads like a great spy novel, but it really happened!
I've read lots of book on the Kennedy assassination, and without question LEGEND ranks as the best, along with the other two books in THA ASSASSINATION CHRONICLES. LEGEND reads like a spy thriller, taking lots of twists and turns, studying the hidden agendas of all government agencies that had something to gain or lose by revealing Lee Harvey Oswald's real purpose in Russia. Through a careful analysis of the available evidence, Epstein points the finger at both the CIA and KGB for hiding and obscuring key facts about Oswald's life in Russia, and uncovers evidence that indicates Oswald was more than he appeared to be. Even handed and thouroughly documented, LEGEND is a must read in assassination lore.

Best American Author About Lawyers
It is difficult to understand why the three major works of Mr. Osborn are out of print, or for that matter, why there are not more books from this fine author. Mr. Osborn's work should be required reading for anyone even remotely thinking of going to law school.

PHESANT HUNTERS THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!!!
Please excuse my spelling, it's terrible This book is terrific. I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. It is a fine collection of stories ranging from the great soilbank days when Kansas alone had 4 million birds to the Royal hunts in Europe where an average daily bag mesaures in the thousands, It has stories more like mine where the average hunt ends with tired dogs and few birds. The book through it's many differant authors also explores the ethics associated with hunting. This book is for the bird hunter who's cleaning his gun for the third time this week when hunting season isn;t for 6 months. It's for the guy who can't stop dreaming of how his new pup will do his first time out. It's for the guy who spends more time with his dogs than with his wife. All hunters will enjoy this book, but the true bird hunter won;t be able to put it down.
