Goodnight Spot
This a wonderful book to use as a bed time story. Children can see that even Spot has to go to bed when he is tired. It will help them see that they need to get into the habit of going to bed when they are tired.

Very good book to travel with
This is a wonderful book to read to your little one. I have a 10 month old that loves to hear this story. This book is fairly small so that I can just place it in her diaper bag and take it out when she gets cranky while we are out and about.

A classic good night puppy story
My 9-month-old has loved this book since she was a newborn. It is short and simple, but the pages have bright colors with the cute puppy preparing for bed. He plays, baths, picks out a book and his parents read him to sleep. A classic that all babies should have in their library.

Very entertaining for littlies...
My baby daughter loves Spot and she really seemed to enjoy this story. Cute pictures and a sweet story combine for a good reading experience.

First Graders Just LOVE the Spot Lift-the-Flap Books!!!
We are first graders and we LOVE the Spot books! Our names are Philicia Swanson, Anderson Davis, James Renford, Ann Marie Remacle, and Derek Curry. Our favorite Spot book is Spot Visits His Grandparents. Philicia and Ann Marie like the part when Spot shows Mom her ball from when she was a puppy. James, Derek, and Anderson like the part when Spot throws the ball and the window breaks. We hope Eric Hill will write 100 more Spot Lift-the-Flap books!!!!!

Spot chases his ball around the circus
If your child likes Spot books I'm sure they'll enjoy this one.

Spot loses his ball and chases it all over the circus trying to catch it ... finally ended up being taught to balance it on his nose by a seal. A fun adventure your toddler will love!

Spot Goes to the Circus
Captured here is the tormented journey of a young puppy (Spot) who proceeds from page-to-page in search of his misdirected ball. Without regard to his own personal safety, Spot chases the bouncing orb through cages occupied by lions and tigers; around a bear who, herself is balancing on a ball (and wearing a tu-tu); and across a high-wire act where two monkeys make an unsuccessful attempt to catch the errant ball. Ultimately, the ball is located in the cage of a seal who teaches Spot how the balance the orb on his nose, much to the delight of the puppy's mother. All ends happily, as Spot announces that he has made a new friend. While I personally found the tale somewhat predictable -- for example, I never feared for Spot's safety and figured that, ultimately, his ball would be recovered -- my three year old delighted in the apparent risk and adventure undertaken by the pup and, no matter how many times she reads the book always "oohs," and "aahs" with each new progression through the pages. While is isn't the Cat-in-the-Hat, Spot Goes to the Circus is good clean family fun

my kid just loves it!!!!!!
A great book. your child will be addicted to it and learn as well.

Good explanation and exercises
Now, this book is really good in explaining accounting concepts. My instructor used this book in teaching. The online notes provided to instructor is really good. I missed several lectures because of my illness, so I had to do some catch up by reading this book myself. The exercises provided in the book increase my analytical thinking. I was able to answer my exam paper with flying colours because of this book. The drawback for this book is only there's not much graphics or pictures to make reading easy.

good accounting book
not a big fan of accounting, but i must admit, this is a really good textbook. anytime i got lost in my classes or lecture, this book explains things in a very clear and organized way to help you better understand. the problems are long but extremely helpful in getting a handle on the methods. the real world examples they use in the text also adds to whatever concept you're learning. i couldn't imagine a better managerial accounting book at the moment. so 5 stars. yup. i'm so glad i'm done with this course...

Great guide for Cost / Managerial Accountants
This book is great for Cost / Managerial Accountants as well as new comers to the field of cost accounting. I read this book as part of MBA curriculum and loved every bit, even though I do not have an accounting background.

We love Spot The Dog
Spot the Dog books are a favourite with my girls. They love the simple stories that they can relate to (hiding, baking a cake, playing with others etc) and the lift-the-flaps always bring screams of delight even though we've read them many many times. As they grow I'm sure they'll be one of the books they learn to read with. The words are simple and the font easy to read. Lovely books to cuddle up with your children on your lap. They are also big enough to hold up and read to them as they sit in back seat on car trips.

A wonderful Spot creation
This is one of the best Spot books. My baby loves lifting the flaps and looking at the cute animals. It is on par with Where Is Spot the classic. Makes me want to pack up the wagon and head out to the beach!

The Favorite Spot Book
My nephew, Philip, is 15 months old and this is his most favorite Spot book and most favorite book in general. Each time it is read to him, he squeals with delight at all of the pictures - especially the ones behind the flaps that he insists on carefully peeling back by himself. His parents, nanny, brother, grandparents and I have read this book to him so many times that the flaps have fallen out from his extensive flipping (nothing that tape or Elmer's Glue can't fix). This book is so well loved that Philip often wants to sleep with it in his crib! Perhaps a new copy is an order! Hear that, Santa?

Not the best of the Spot Lift-a-flap books.
Our daughter really enjoys the Spot Lift-a-flap books. This one, however, leaves much to be desired. The primary surprises under the flaps are dialogue - which a pre-schooler can't read. The other Spot books have pictures under the flaps. Still, we reach for these books night after night!

Spot Goes to the Park
I am a Mommy and Me teacher, and I teach over 100 children per week ages 4 months to 4 years in my Fitness n' Play program, I read this book in my Story Time and the children just love it, I own just about every Spot book ever written, they are the greatest!

Our daughter's favorite book
I don't know what it is about this book, but our 15-month old daughter just loves it and its companion book "Spot Goes to the Beach". We read it over and over again. She likes to look under the flaps and say what the characters under the flaps are saying. Every page brings another flap to look under and another cry of joy from our daughter. The story isn't much, but who cares? This one gets read many times every night. I recommend it highly!

Makes Our baby smile
Well our baby has a lot of books but this is his favorite. The bright colors and simple words make him excited every time we open the book. Now I'm shopping for the other Spot books. Go figure.

Well done.
The simple pictures and text of this Spot book are perfect for little ones. The endearing dog visits the garden, watches birds eating, picks flowers, digs carrots and waters a tree. The pictures are wonderful for little eyes. Each page has just enough detail to be able to point out flowers, birds, trees, carrots, fence, etc., but not too many to be cluttered.

My two year old has enjoyed this book since he was 9 months old. Very simply, this is a nice book.

Spot's Favorite Words
The pictures in this book are great for my daughter's age (16 months), and she enjoys flipping thru it. However, the book is a "block" book - meaning it is eleven small square hardcover pages bound together. So within two weeks, we ended up with "flash cards" instead of a book!

SPOT CAN READ - CAN YOU?
.

If you are starting to see SPOTS ( books) everywhere, "Favourite Words" is a good starting point for any collection.

Eric Hill has found a very successful formula with Spot. This little "block" book with its compact size is a perfect way to turn the small hands of young readers into confident little page-turners.

These books are hardly sophisticated but their simplicity is very effective. Definitely a good way to get the young ones connecting words and images.

This book is at the opposite end to "Spot's Noisy Farm" with its synthesised farm noises. However both books should inspire children to develop a love of words, story telling and eventually become capable readers.

Restaurants would be a chore without this book! Clear pictures and simple language make this a great book to teach colors and entertain little ones. It keeps my little one happy!
