I first discovered this book while working in a daycare center. The children loved the characters of Ann and Andy, and I loved that it taught excellent lessons regarding manners and proper behavior. I don't know how many times I read this book to the children. The book deals with the correct way we should treat others (a quality so lacking in today's society) and does so by providing little rhyming scenarios that Ann and Andy face. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to teach proper manners and treatment of others to children, but since it is out of print it will not be easy to find. I am so thankful that I have my own copy to read to my children.

This is a beautiful book, full of color photos of old and new (mostly new) Santa Fe style homes. If you are looking for how-to advice, historical description, or much text at all, this book is not for you. However, it was a perfect choice for me, since I was (still am) designing a new home and wanted a wide variety of examples of southwest homes. There are chapters on entrances, courtyards, and individual rooms, each page filled with wonderful views of both traditional and more contemporary details. The last section of the book (about 75 pages) focuses on Santa Fe arts, and features baskets, pottery, kachina dolls, furniture, sculpture, paintings and more. A friend loaned this book to me nine months ago, and after turning pages dozens of times and marking favorites with sticky notes, I finally decided to break down and give myself the gift of my own personal copy.

This book has been out sons favortie since we bought it when he was around 9 months old (he is now 2 1/2). He askes for this particular book at least 4 out of 7 nights aweek. I am acutally at this site right now looking into buying a new copy. The binding did not hold up as well as I would have liked, but I will admitt he falls alseep with it in his bed a couple of times a night (we let him look at a book in bed after we tuck him in for the night) I would highly recommend this book to anyone who child loves Elmo. It is a really cute story and as it goes along, Elmo falls asleep, so my son likes to pretend he is Elmo and lays down on his pillow. I can not rave about it enough. There is lots to talk about as the story goes along and there is even a section where you can count sheep (my sons favorite part)! I recommend this story to everyone!

This is an excellent book for an infant or toddler. It is one of my 10 month old's favorites. The large, bright, colorful pictures always capture her attention. Each page asks if Elmo is one of several different colors, then says what IS that color (for example, Elmo is not orange, but Zoe's basketball is). This is a great book in which small children can learn about colors and also see their favorite Sesame Street characters.

I just picked this book up because it is a true get to the point guide. No mixing lessons, no quantities. Just the basic ingredients list to make a drink. All alphabetical.

For anybody who already know's how to bartend and just wants a good book full of recipes this the one you want. This book assumes you, as a bartender, already know the basics. It's loaded with recipes that are organized alphabetically, and easy to read.

I've been bartending for many years and have been looking for a book like this! There are so many great recipes! Its alphabetical...really easy to read... There are great shots and old classics. Its a dictionary for the busy bartender and my friends love it too. Now I only need one book instead of keeping several by the bar! Great job.

What a great book!! Reading this book just before bedtime when your preschooler is "afraid of monsters" is ideal. Are all monsters bad? Grover is afraid of monsters and Elmo is curious. Little Elmo wants to see the monster at the end of the book, but Grover tries to discourage him by placing obstacles in his way. Will Elmo ever see the monster? My 3 1/2 year old thinks this book is great and even participates in the reading. A great read for children and parents alike.

This is an interactive book....the kids hearing it read to them will help you decide whether to listen to Grover and stop turning the pages, or go on with Elmo...it's just what the pre-schooler loves, and I enjoy it as well!!! The first one was only with Grover, and I gotta admit, even better. Buy both!

I had always enjoyed Monster and when I got married and became a stepmom, I ran out and bought the book. My stepson couldn't read yet, but he new exactly when to yell, "You turned the page!". Then when Another Monster came out...you better believe we got it as well. I now have a 6 month old son and pretty soon he will be meeting up with the Monster! I highly recommend this book to everyone.

This book arrived just in time for Valentine's day for my son! Of all the books that he has at his disposal, he consistently reaches for this one! Maybe it is the bright red color or his beloved Elmo on the cover. Whatever it is, it has gotten a hold on him. I read it to him (he is 15 months old) every day and get a huge smile and hand-clapping when I am finished. We love you too Elmo!

This book is adorable. My 2 year old loves Elmo and we read it over and over again. The poem has a great rythm and keeps repeating "Elmo loves you!" which always makes him smile. I also like that it includes all of the common Sesame Street characters, with Elmo on each page. The book talks about the things each character loves, which are things most toddlers love: noise, toys, books.

A cute look at Elmo doing everything possible to keep a monster left in his care from waking up. Very typically Elmo--my kids love it.

Nora won't let me read the Elmo book though. She literally won't put it down. She is holding it in one hand right now while she plays with her F. P. farm with the other. Great choice!

This book is great for toddlers. Nice pictures and easy to handle board pages makes it a great book for young readers. The lighted moon keeps their interest and even makes a great book to take to bed. Your little one is sure to enjoy this.

I started reading this book to my daughter about 1 month ago and she loves it, when I tell her it is time for night night she goes in her room and gets this book and she sits in my lap and after we read it she gets and bed and goes right to sleep and if we go somewhere and she needs a nap and we don't have it then she puts up a fight for her nap. I gave this a book a five star rating because it is short and toddlers understand it especially if they like elmo.

I bought this book for my 1 year old niece, and she loves it! Any book that has flaps is a sure-fire hit with her. However, this book's flap construction doesn't live up to the rigors of a 1 year old. She's torn off 2 flaps already and she's only had it a month. I wouldn't consider her an extra strong toddler, nor is she hard on her toys, but the flaps in the book just aren't strong enough. For that reason alone, I'm giving the book 4 rather than 5 stars.

We have four Elmo's World books and this one is my 17 month old daughter's absolute favorite. Night after night she will pick this book for me to read to her. It is a really simple book with nice, clear pictures. We have read this countless times and yet she continues to love it. Highly recommended!

My daughter loves this book! We own 3 out of the 4 Elmo's World books and this is by far her favorite! She loves to lift the flaps and can point at the different types of balls described! The only drawback is that the book isn't very sturdy-other than that-it's great!
