great book
I am a preschool teacher and have used this book with many 3-5 year old students with great success. It is very entertaining to children which helps them attend long enough to learn. I myself don't mind hearing it over and over again! I bought this book several years ago and it got lost. I have been searching for this book in book stores and am glad that I finally found another one !

Elmo and the Baby Animals
Elmo and the Baby Animals is a wonderful way to introduce children to the names of animals and their children. It is also a great way to introduce kids to books on cassette, as kids get to listen to Elmo's voice on tape and turn the page when they hear the sound. Kids love Elmo and they get to learn about farm animals and there are some fun jokes. My son reads the book over and over, and enjoys listening to the tape with or without the book. You'll enjoy it! And then visit a farm afterward!

My Son Loves This Book
My two-year-old absolutely loves this book. We read it every night. He's the kind of kid who won't let anyone look in his mouth or ears. Now he wants me to look in his mouth and ears like the doctor does to Elmo. For extra fun I use a penlight to get a better look. I'm taking this book with me to his next doctor's appointment.

Oooh, I'm so tired of this book, but my kids love it!
And isn't that the measure of a great toddler book? We have read this book over and over and over. It not only entertains my 2-year-old twins, it helps them anticipate what to expect when they go to the doctor. They like it so much that they can now 'read' it to each other, as they know whole pages by heart. Thumbs up!

Great book. My son, 11 months, loves Elmo and loves this book. The flaps are laminated and so are great for little hands. he loves lifting up to see the puppies.

Great Book for Toddlers
This book is a must have for any parent of a toddler that loves Elmo and also loves dogs! My 15 month old can't get enough of this book! The hidden pictures are a plus too! Enjoy!

It's excellent!
After reading this book, my 20-month-old son would follow what ELMO did in the book, pretending to be a cat, a lion, a worm. For example, he would "meow" and creep when he saw a cat in the book. It was fun for a baby boy to learn about animals in that way.

interesting unknown history
This book ofers you a look of a little know part of american history . It show what happen in the Ozarks when a few men took law into thier own hands and tried to make the town right by , by-passing the courts and prision system . This book was very violent but also well researched . It also shows a very unbiased account of the players and events that took place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new part of history to look into . This will show you alot of what people in the Ozarks went through in that time period and it may shock you.

A great lift the flap book for Elmo lovers
Our toddler loves this book. Particuarly the confusion between "flamingo" and "flamenco". Now when he sees flamingos in real life he says no and vigorously shakes his head. "Not the flamingo, the flamenco Dorothy" ;-)

This book was the first sesame street book i read to my daughter and since then i still read it to her every night. She learned the animal sounds and to name them all in this book. i recommend this book to the parents who read to their kids at night or when ever they read to them because i think it a wonderful book to have or better yet to add to your sesame street collection.

Elmo Jackson Man of Action Is One Fun Book
The world could use more quality books for young readers. After one has read Willy Wonka, Harry Potter, James and the Giant Peach and Matilda ... what is left?

Elmo Jackson is a welcome addition. As far as this reader is concerned, this book delivers a ride like no other. It is funny, witty, adventurous and an all around good time. If you love superheroes (or even if you don't), you'll love this book.

Another plus is that the book contains nothing whatsoever of an offensive nature. It was nice to read a book that didn't have any "uh-oh" parts in it.

I strongly recommend Elmo Jackson Man of Action as an adventurous read for for all ages. Way to go, B.J. Nybo!
