Great book.
Great concentration on corporate events, it made learning so much easier. The case studies that allow for hands-on learning and the accompanying web site that contains simulated events all were factors in making the book more stimulating.

A beautiful book
I loved the book. I put in on my coffee table and the vistors in my home, love looking and reading about the people in the book. I am a follower of the quilt artist Yvonne Wells of Tuscaloosa Alabama and I was very pleased to see her work selected to be placed in the book. The book was put together very well, the writing and the colors throughout the book were crisp and vivid.

A must for all AIDS educators.
I have used Phyllis Vos Wezeman's Creating Compassion since 1995 and I have been able to deliver motivating, interactive and enlightening HIV/AIDS workshops to people of all ages. It has a friendly, recipe-style format which allows the facilitator to prepare a lesson around a special date like December 1st or around a specific art like cooking, kite making or focusing on a community like a school setting or company setting. I highly recommend this book and BEG that some day it's available in Spanish!

A book with moving photographs and interesting essays.
Divine Inspiration is an unusual coffee table book because the pictures do tell a thousand words, and because the text is helpful and interesting, not just filler. It is a good, respectful introduction to the Yoruba religion and its many offspring in the Americas.
