Amazing artwork!
I am not a huge fan of old "nursery rhyme" type poetry, but this book caught my eye and my 3 yr old boys and I love it! The illustrations are simply amazing as each page unfolds from 2 children visiting an eccentric, storytelling neighbor to the children becoming the owl and pussycat. My boys immediately noticed the firepole in the man's house among other curiosities. As the children enjoy a snack and the man reads the poem, the floor turns to water and the window seat to a pea green boat. The bespeckled little boy becomes an owl and girl becomes a cat. The poem is read a second time with them as the main characters and the illustrations cleary 'telling' the story. Just as fluidly, the children return to human form and their mothers call them for dinner as the poem winds down. This book would certainly be a wonderful addition to a classic nursery rhymes collection.
Another Great Entry in the Knight Revival
If you're a fan of Hilary Knight's artwork (and if you're not, you ought to be), you will definitely want this book. Those who are only familiar with Knight's wonderful pen and ink drawings for Eloise and Mrs. Piggle Wiggle will be amazed at the beauty of his full color illustrations. This book is good enough for either your child's/nephew's/niece's bookshelf, or (in my case) your own. The illustrations of a young boy and girl slowly becoming part of the tale are beautifully rendered. I am glad to see so many Knight books on the market again, and hope that i will get to see some more.

A definite primer for networking!
Networking may seem like an obvious way to tell people about your business, but this book is full of wonderful details that help you build your business by cross-promoting and working with other entrepreneurs.
In their usual personal style, the authors define the various strategies for business arrangements, allowing you to choose the ones that are right for you.
You will learn the 10 effective ways of teaming up with others, how to find the right people to network with, business aspects of joint relationships, continuing the working relationship, and when to move on or stay on your chosen collaborative path.
A definite primer for networking, I recommend that any business owner, especially those in home business, learn the principles covered in Teaming Up.
Necessary success strategies for the future of work.
The choice is no longer should you go into business for yourself but when. Eventually we will all be self employed.
Current employment trends, as spelled out by Jeremy Rifkin in "The End of Work," show that within the next decade over 90 million of today's 124 million jobs are in danger of elimination due to technology. Countless articles have been written about developing your resume while you're still employed and how to act as if you are self-employed even while working for a corporation.
Today, more than at any other time in our history, we are being faced with the probability of losing our job and having to find another or becoming self-employed.
The strategies, techniques, self-tests, and advice contained in Teaming Up are absolutely essential for everyone who plans to continue working into the future. It is a must read for all of our members.

A fascinating page-turner
Paul M. Edwards' The Angel Acronym is an involving and original mystery, featuring the head director of church education, Toom Taggart, who suspects foul play when the church archivist is found dead in the temple complex. A dark and twisted tale of hidden motives, and the conflicting politics of bureaucracy, religious zeal, and public perception, The Angel Acronym is a fascinating page-turner to be read closely to the last page.

Dear Everyone
Dear Bruno is an incredibly candid and honest compilation of letters that only one cancer survivor can convey to another. Despite all the medical staff in the world who may pretend to know about tests, procedures, and illness...no one can really understand without walking in their shoes. This book is for all of us who need to remember to appreciate and look forward to the wonderfully trivial things in life, while we have been given this gift called the present.
