Very refreshing and worthy of reading.
This book does not deserve to be that low on the sales rank. It's fresh, it's about looking with a different perspective at business. If you like Tom Peters, you'l definetly like this one.

Attention Lovecraftian Horror Fans
This is the eleventh book in Chaosium's Cthulhu Cycle series. This volume features tales of Lovecraft's most well-known creation, the octopus-headed entity, Cthulhu. Included are the foundational stories (i.e. "The Call Of Cthulhu" by H.P. Lovecraft and "The Black Island" by August W. Derleth), some rare reprints (i.e. "Some Notes Concerning A Green Box" by Alan Dean Foster) and some interesting new stories of Cthulhu in the modern world (i.e. "Rude Awakening" by Will Murray). In any collection the stories are of varied quality but I enoyed the majority of the works collected. If you are a reader of Lovecraft's Mythos fiction then this is a must for your library.

Days of Destiny: Crossroads in American History
Days of Destiny: Crossroads in American History edited by James M. McPherson and Alan Brinkley is a book that brings thirty-one of todays best-selling and most respected historians together into a project that is engaging with unparalleled scholarship, as the question that is asked are there moments in American History when something old ends and something new begins. This book takes us from King Philip's 1675 parley with white colonial officials to the 1973 research conference at which the biotechnology revolution was announced.

This is a book that will court your mind with its information and insight, making a very fascinating read about the turbulent course of American History. As some of the historian chose wars, presidents, battles and politics, others chose areas, of less well-known areas of study making a well-rounded book with crisp prose and readability that will keep your interest.

The contents are as follows:

June 17, 1675 King Philip's Quarell by James Axtell

As you can see this is a who's who line up of historians that chose a moment that changed history and you will not be disappointed reading the very well put together book, as it is a book of extraodinary acts and thoughts of exceptional people, and it is reflected by these scholars making a profound difference, not only in history but our daily lives.

This book is sponsored by the Society of American Historians and was written by members elected to the society because of their demonstrated capacity to write lucid, significant and very readable history. I found this book to provide stimulation and enjoyment, delivering an understanding of some of the central questions in American history. This is well worth your money to purchase and this volume is well appointed with illustrations further enriching your experience.

Emery & Rimoin's Principles & Practice of Medical Genetics
I found this book to be an invaluable assest and reference text. As a resident needing a thorough reference at home for this text will be a welcome addition to my library (and the first place I head to late at night). It systematically breaks down each chapter into clear, clinically important areas so you can easily find what you need.

Amazing
Well upon reading this book I did not only find it very interesting but also it had other very good points of the book. Every page I turned to there were detailed illustrations complete with pictures and diagrams. I have also been though the intermediate book and I personally thought that this was well illustrated and presented, but this book is in a new league of GNVQ books, if you are interested in taking the GNVQ then I would highly recommend this book for reference and ideas. This book for me gets 5 starts.

Go the Distance Artfully Done
This is a great companion book to "The Art of Hercules the Chaos of Creation" by Stephen Rebello and Jane Healy.

The lyrics of "Go the Distance" bring the illustrations beautifully to life.

It is in hardcover with a beautifully illustrated just jacket.

Now, only if I could locate a copy!

Toe-tapping verses that beg to be sung aloud
I'm Still Here In The Bathtub by Alan Katz is a delightful collection of "silly-dilly" poems, which can be sung to the tunes of classic childhood favorites. Extravagant caricature artwork by David Catrow adds a special touch to the toe-tapping verses that beg to be sung aloud, in this pleasant and humorous picture book. My Sister Fights With Me: My sister fights with me/We always disagree/And it's her fault!/She breaks my favorite stuff/She treats me mean and rough/I say, "I've had enough!"/Our mom yells halt!/So we act like we're friends/But soon the niceness ends/She starts to hiss/Taking things from my drawers/Making me do her chores/And worst of all, she snores/Please take my sis!
