Cute little book
Although it's written for kids, adults can enjoy it, too. And there's lots of photos! Cohen goes through a quick survey of monsters in literature, film and radio. Some surprised me--it's not often anyone mentions "The Colussus of New York." There are
other books that are much more detailed, but they are much more expensive and much, much larger. This is a slim, easy-to-read
paperback, made to order for that youngster in your family you
might be showing some curiosity about monsters (and what normal
kid doesn't?)

Perfect Triceratops Beginner
This is a great book for any small child interested in Triceratops. It covers: where triceratops lived (including illustrated map), relatives of triceratops, tricertops biology, diet, predators, and how they came to their ultimate demise. The book also includes a hands on activity and a short glossary. Pictures are really good and clear. The writing is very fact based, but easy enough for even our four year old to understand (in fact, he now knows more about triceratops than most adults probably know). I highly recommend this book for the dinosaur lover in your family.

good review of urban legends for the jr high set
This is a great book for the Jr High set. Cohen has several books aimed at several age groups and this a fun look at uban legends without too much analysis...which is a good thing for the target group.

I also suggest "The Headless Roommate" by Cohen, which is aimed at High School kids.

This book was awesome!
I loved this book. Me and my friends loved reading all of the scary and funny storys. I wish I could have a copy to read around the campfire! Read it and you'll love it!

Simplistic but satisfying
Daniel Cohen's "Werewolves" is really a childrens book in adult clothing. It is written in a straightforward, easy to read manner that is appropriate for younger readers.

Mr Cohen makes no attempt to impress the reader with scholarly musings or voluminous research, instead using a number of interesting anecdotes, historical conjectures and mythological references to weave an interesting albeit shallow examination of the werewolf phenomenon through the ages.

Werewolves makes an excellent first excursion into the world of the lycanthrope and the paranormal. For those new to the subject matter, it is excellent. For anyone looking for a deeper examination of the subject matter, the book will be disappointing.

Very enriched as to how werewolves has survived in time.
The novel is very enriched in information. I love this book. It was written by a great writer, with a great imagination. I hope that one day I will be able to write a book as good as Daniel Cohen.

A very good book, and informative
It has many subjects on werewolves, such as people who thought they were werewolves and went to trial, to werewolves of the internet. A very good book for anyone (such as myself) interested in werewolves

I didn't care too finish this book
I felt I wasted my money buying it. Wasn't that exciting and they barely paid much attention to Miller who was the gymnast that really won them the gold since she was the highest scorer on the team. Don't buy it.

GREAT BOOK WITH GREAT FACTS
The book tells you all the facts you need to know about the Magnificent 7 and also others like Olga Korbut,Nadia Comaneci,Mary Lou Retton,&Bela Karolyi. It tells you how hard it was to train every day.It definatley inspires you!

An fab book for the whole gym. crowd!
This book was very informative and told me everything I wanted to know about the Mag 7. The dedication of these gymnasts is amazing. As a gymnast myself, I understood the hardships of this great sport, such as missing many social events and being in pain alot. Even if you are not a gymnast, this book will make a sure fan out of you. A great book.
