This book, although written in the early 70's, is a must-read for teachers. It contains important information on dyslexia and language disabilities in general that many future teachers will not be taught in college. Unfortunately, special education for children with "learning differences" has not progressed since the 70's in some areas of the country. As the mother of a 12 year old boy with dyslexia, I related to this book and the author and found myself rejoicing over Mike's(the real-life character written about)victories and weeping at his struggles. The story was inspiring, encouraging, and motivating for me because I am also an education student,and I found many helpful tips in the book about how to spot and help children with language disabilities.

This devotional book really brings joy to the heart. It truly is the best that I have ever read. The authors write from the heart and deal with everyday real life situations. Thanks ladies for your inspiration.

This book helps truly look at your program and how it meets the needs of the children in your program. It gives a standard that we should all hold to when caring for young children.

This is a great devotional. It is filled with personal stories, prayers, and lots of scripture. She covers interesting topics like prayer, angels, and why we need to stay in the Word of God!! This is a nice little gift book as well.

I have read this book more than once and highly reccomend it to anyone hungry for a refreshing book! It's written with great taste and will truly make you laugh out loud. The experinces are real and you can easily picture them in your mind. The main character is like your brother or like a friend the whole way threw. It's like a good buddy telling you of his experinces. It easy to read and a whole lot of fun

I would say this is a book that takes some chewing, some thorough digestion, even. When I first got this book, I didn't like it. I put it away with all my other books I don't like. When I got it out again I found it was a much better book than I had at first realized, maybe books, like dog bones, improve with age.

In Howard Finster: The Early Years, Thelma Bradshaw (Finster's daughter) provides an informative, intimate memoir and tribute to her 80 year old father's life and work. The reader is treated to rare and previously unpublished family photos of Finster in Trion, Georgia, along with his early work. Howard Finster: The Early Years is a welcome contribution to American art history and highly recommended reading for those who appreciate his original artistic visions -- including his "Paradise Garden", which is an incredible maze of found-object art and sculpture which he created near his home in Summerville, Georgia.

I never thought that a system like Mormonism with a lot of people and with a recognized structural organization hide the truth knowledge coming from the centures, like the Cristianism. We can not let a danger doctrin subsist. My experience on that doctrine is poor but enough to relate a lot of bad histories that happened to me inside the Church and living with ex friends Mormons that if i could i would like to forget forever. Mamma and me translated to portuguese as ¨Por que abandonei o Mormonismo ¨, was written to me.

This is a wonderful tool for the artist looking for information on plastic as art medium. It is certainly more comprehensive than any of the more current books I've been able to find on the subject. This book is written for the inexperienced to the experienced plastics artist. The copy I have is in color, but it was also printed in black & white.

I only wish that someone would update it again, I'm sure that with the advanced in technology an update would be well received.
