Miffy Visits the Zoo, with its reusable stickers, has been a favorite of my 16-month old daughter. The hands-on play time with the animal stickers has helped her learn all the animals by name very quickly. We are anxious to get more such books!

This is a board book with four typical events in every baby's day. You flip the pages to see Miffy sleep and wake up, eat a muffin and finish her plate, wear winter gear or swimming pants, and wash and shower. Aimed at the very young (up to 18 months), this book helps you build a little vocabulary while your baby will love flipping the pages up and down about a hundred times each time your read it. Thank God it's a board book.

this books learns the children the abc. it's not in a very special way. they just give the letters with a picture standing next to it. To bad that there isn't a story with it. the pictures are just dick bruna. they are just great.

This is an excellent first Alphabet book. The large, simple, brightly colored pictures make it perfect to use with babies and young toddlers. Though drawn with just a few lines, the pictures are expressive and appealing. Try it with your baby!

is a good book, but far from being one of Bruna's best. It is not as conceptually interesting as his Miffy's Birthday (a jigsaw book printed in the UK) or What Time Is It, and the printing job is less impressive than his flip book series.

My 2 year old and I adore Miffy, but this book was disappointing for 2 reasons. It is not as clever or as well composed as other Miffy books and it is downright flimsy. The puzzle pieces are hard to get out and hard to put back in. It is not made of the thick, sturdy material that a puzzle book should require. We recommend instead any of the regular Miffy story books (our favorite so far is, "Miffy in Hospital") or, "Miffy's Counting Book".
