Miffy Mania Strikes Again!
When I think of childhood companions, Miffy and Hello Kitty make that list. This was my favorite "Miffy" book when I was young and now that it is popular once more I can read it to my 5 year-old sister-in-law. "Miffy In The Snow" is young Miffy's adventure in the lovely winter white powder that all kids adore! Miffy is such a delightful character for any young (or young-at-heart) person! If you have any ankle-biters in your house, "Miffy" is sure to please. And even if you don't, "Miffy" is sure to bring back some fond memories!

Miffy's Birthday
This book is a staple for any mother or babysitter. Simple yet interesting and colorful, it holds a young one's attention while still teaching them basic language skills. I liked it very much, and my children like it even more.

Peek-a-boo Fun!
My toddler loves playing peek-a-boo w/Miffy, Miffy's Mom, Dad, and dog. The illustrations are large, simple and colorful. Most importantly the pages are very easy to turn for my daughter who received this book when she was about 11 months old. Each time she turns the page she's rewarded w/a peek-a-boo surprise. I recommend this book for young children and babies who enjoy playing peek-a-boo. (Older children will probably be bored with the simplicity of this book.)
What Time Is It Miffy?

Learning to tell time, starting easy.
This Miffy book will help preschoolers get into telling time, using a typical (pre-)school day so they can easily relate to it. On each page you see a picture of a clock at the whole hour with the digital time above it and one event that will go with it. To give some examples, 7:00 is Good morning, 8:00 is Time for breakfast, 9:00 is Off to school, and so on. The words used are very brief, the emphasis in this book is really on the clocks and the pictures. This way it's easy to encourage your child to tell you what he sees rather than you reading the book to him.

Miffy at the Zoo
I have the original version of Miffy at the Zoo, published in 1965, and printed in Holland. I have recently bought the updated version, owing to wear and tear on the first copy. I am quite disappointed that the text has been changed, as my 15 month old grand-daughter was becoming so familiar with the original. I can't quite understand why parrots can't say "Pretty Polly" now and have to say "Pretty bird" instead! And why does Miffy have to have a 'father' and not a Daddy? The repeated use of the word 'funny' on the zebra page implies a certain lack of imagination on the part of the translator. Am I just being over-fussy to want to read the original text I wonder? I don't dislike the rhyming text, but the original was simpler and very direct for young children.
I loved it, now my son does too!
My son loves the pictures and colours in these books. I remember loving the colours too when I was a child reading them in England. When I read them to him, I actually get "warm fuzzies" from the nice memories they bring back.
Excellent baby/preschool book
This is one of my personal favourites in the Miffy series, where Miffy (a little girl bunny) goes to the zoo with her father. They take the train and go to see the parrots, a zebra, a kangaroo, an elephant, a monkey, two giraffes, and a turtle. It's great fun for kids with the bright-coloured simple pictures. My one-year old daughter loves to point at the pictures and "say" the names of the animals. The text has four lines of rhyme on each page that describe what is seen on the page. After reading it only a few times, my daughter can now spot any monkey a mile away.

Great pick for the smallest of babies
I've bought lots of Miffy for my six month old daughter. This is one of our favorites because its small enough for her to handle and tough enough to withstand all of the drooling and chewing she puts it through. The story is very simple and the pictures always grab her attention. I highly reccomend the Miffy series to anyone that wants to begin reading to their small baby.
This one is always in the diaper bag for quick entertainment
My 7 month old daughter loves Miffy! Good Morning, Miffy is a great introduction to the Miffy series. It shows Miffy, the darling little bunny, as she goes through her day. We see Miffy waking up, eating breakfast, going for a walk, returning home and going to bed-activities children participate in themselves. The drawings are engaging and full of bright colors that keep a child's attention. The book itself is durable and has stood up to some regular chewing. It is a short book, but one can spend time counting the ducks on one page and commenting on Miff's teddy bear on another. It's a book that I haven't grown tired of reading and sharing with my daughter.

An easy-to-relate to story with simple drawings
Miffy is so loveable! In this first book of the Miffy series, mother and father bunny wish for a baby and little Miffy makes their wish come true. Simple images, common animals and a smiling angel make this story easy to understand for very small children. Plus it's fun to say "Miffy! Miffy! Miffy!"
I grew up in Holland with Dick Bruna's books, they're great!
I was surprised to find Dick Bruna's books here on the internet. He is from Holland and his books have been every Dutch child's favorites over there. I grew up in Holland myself and I cannot count the numerous Bruna books I have. They are great! Kids loooooove the bright colors and read them over and over again. Can't think of a better gift for a young child.

Very Good
the book is a good one but i don't believe it will hold the attention of a two year old boy. it is possible that the subject matter is still too abstract. however, i will certainly keep it in mind for the near future.

Miffy likes to ride : a sticker book
It's a GREAT book that brings interaction between a young child (12-24 months) and a parent. The stickers help the child understand where boats belong...water vs. land along with other things you can ride. Children love books read to them and these stickers just add one more thing for the child to participate in. The stickers are plastic and reusable many times over. When they get dirty just clean them off with any cleaning solution and they stick like new. The book also has thick pages, so they don't rip or bend. This is one of my childs favorite books.
