This is a good book! It needs some more action, but I still really liked it! I couldn't put it down! I reccomend it for everyone from mystery to fiction to sports readers! I think some guys would even like it even if they aren't cheerleaders! I haven't read any other books in the series, but if they are as good as this one, I can't wait to read them!

This book is great! It has mean pranks with exciting parts but a good ending. I love how all through the book Darryl is with Sally but it's like he likes Melody, too. He calls Melody and goes on walks with her...he obviously likes her! But he also is GOING OUT with Sally, the cheer squad captain. And as Melody starts to steal Darryl away...competition doesn't just heat up between the Cougars and Bulldogs...but with Sally and Melody, too. Everyone should read this book--it's good! And they should read the other CHEER USA books too--every single one of them rocks! Personally, I like Sally the best. But opinions might change.....

I read this book years ago when my parents got divorced and loved it. In fact, the reason I looked it up on Amazon.com was that I wanted to recommend it to someone (a librarian no less!) and couldn't remember the author.

The story is about a girl whose parents are getting divorced and are sharing joint custody. She tries to hide the divorce from the people at school which is very difficult given her emotional state and the joint custody. She is hurt and embarrassed in addition to going through all the usual (pre?)teenage-angst and, as in all such books, must come to terms with her family's situation.

The story is true to the way I felt at the time which was very important because I felt like I was the only one feeling that way (I did know, in my head, that others went through this but that didn't effect how I felt, an important distinction). I'm _very_ disappointed to learn that it is out of print.

If you can get your hands on it - definitely read it. It was good just as a story and great as therapy!

This was one of my favorite books when I was younger. I used to check it and its sequels out of the library at least once a month. Even though all the reviews will say the book is about divorce, it is really a story any young girl can identify with.

MIMI,ROSALIE(IF SHE EVER GETS A PONY)EVE,AND PAM`S SIBLINGS.
ALSO READ THE SADDLE CLUB THAT`S ALL I HAVE TO SAY.

I thought having trouble with one pony was hard!After I read this book I am very glad that I only have Acorn.
When Pam is away(I won't tell you were)the Pony Trouble starts.Mimi's shetland Pony Tongo keeps getting out of his paddock.Anna the Pro on Shetland Ponies trying to escape goes to help Mimi.Then Lulu's Pony Snow white gets very sick.Lulu needs Anna and Pam but even though Anna needs her and Pam and Pam needs Anna and Lulu The Pony Pals are all too busy!Will Pam,Anna and Lulu still be the Pony Pals?Will Tongo stop trying to be Houdini?But most important, will Snow white die?We sure hope not!

I have been reading these books since I was 6 (I'm 12 now!) and the stories aren't grabbing me as much as they used to. The chapters are short and choppy, and the artwork isn't very good, either. What happened? I'm about to call it quits on buying the series, but I think I'll give this one a chance.

this is a great book! i love all the charactors, especialy the ponies. this is an extremly cute book. it's a little unrealistic but it's still really great. i wont tell u about the plot because you hove to read it yourself. if you like horses/ponies this book is for you!! :)

This book was good, but not the best. It is about the girls encounter with Tommy Rand and his friend, and about the pony pals on a campout. On the campout they see a bear. Well really, Anna sees a bear during her nightwatch and tells Lulu and Pam about it. This was ok but could have been better.

This book is the sequel to Rainbow Kid. Sadly, both of these books are out of print. This sequel, finds the heroine struggling to acheive her own identity in high school and coping with being a two-family child (as a result of her parents' divorce). A light-hearted look at the difficulties many children face following a divorce.

A note to the author: Remember in "The Baby Pony" how Lightning was mean to Lucky because she didn't know how to take care of a foal? Well, now in this book, Lightning has suddenly become "Supermom" to Lucky. What about Snow White? I think you should have checked your facts first before you published this book.

I read the Unlucky Pony today. You should buy it. It is very, very good. It was good because there are three girls and their ponies who solve mysteries and they are also heros.

I think this is an extremally great Pony Pal book.My white welsh pony Acorn loves jumping.We don't enter in any shows but I always do mini-comititions with my mum and her brown thoroubred horse Sam.And sometimes with my sister and her bay very fiesty morgan/thoroubred Bill.Pam and her pretty chestnut connamara pony Lightning love to jump.But Pam dosn't like horse shows.Anna is entering on her bay shetland Acorn and Lulu on her white welsh Snow white.Then Pams mums friend comes along.Ealanor is a world known Olympic rider.She has a chestnut thoroubred named Starfire.Starfire has a white star on his forehead and Lightning an upside-down heart.Ealanor convinces Pam to enter the show.Pam,Anna and Lulu are excited.But Pam said that Rosalie could ride Lightning in the show.And then walk,trot and jumping are called at the same time!Pam faces a hard choice.Find out what she does.
