The name of my book is called White Fang 2. There are four main characters - a man named, Henry, his wolf, White Fang, a young Haida woman, named Lily, and the Haida chief, named Moses. In the story Henry wants gold. First he gets the gold , and then he loses it while Lily saves his life. Then he loses White Fang, his best friend, in the river. I think the moral of the story is that money isn't more important than love and friendship. Henry changes by realizing that money isn't more important than love and freindship. I loved this book so much that on a scale of one to five I would give this book a ten. That's how much I loved this book. If you love Native Americans you will love this book.I reccomend this book to ages 8 and up.

It stars Cassy, a young girl raised by her grandmother who is sent on sudden visits to her mother, Goldie (who is slightly 'away with the faries'). Her gran sends her on one of these vists and she starts having nightmares involving wolves, linked in with Goldie's latest project, a play about wolves. And a plot unwinds...
We read this in class and everyone, even the book haters loved it. The plot is on so many levels and it all come together brilliantly. It was exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end- when I went back and read it five more times!
A must read!

This book can (and should) stand on its own. I was extremely disappointed with the next two books in the series. So I would definitely recommend 'Wolf Tower'... just stay clear of 'Wolf Star' and 'Wolf Queen' if you don't want to be left with a bad taste in your mouth.
Claidi's adventures into the Waste are quit exciting. She meets sheep people whose language consists of baa's, feather people who have strange rituals, and the Hulta with their young leader.
Claidi travels along with Nemian in a wonderful tale. She is spunky and learns well from her mistakes. She betrays to prove who she is and is betrayed in return for it.
This book is great. It is very highly recommended. The story is intriguing, the characters wonderful, and the writting superb. This is a great read but its sequel Wolf Star is a sad let down.
Claidi lives in the House, an isolated oasis in the middle of what House residents call the Waste: a place of horrors where the profaners of sacred rituals are sent into exile. Claidi believes the dreadful tales of the Waste, and goes on suffering as a servant to Lady Jade Leaf in the House... until a balloon crashes in the House garden, and the balloon's occupant is put on trial. Then Claidi is swept into an adventure of her own, alongside Nemian, the golden stranger from the balloon. She comes to discover that the Waste is not at all what she has been led to believe, most things aren't what they seem, and that following her heart is, in the long run, going to make her happier than doing what her better judgement tells her is right.
I am a big fan of Tanith Lee, and have become even more so after reading Wolf Tower. The characters and places come alive, and hold more clarity than even some things in life. If you choose not to read this book, then you are truly missing a wonderful and beautiful tale. If you do decide to read it, then be prepared for a delightful, humorous, and sometimes poignant look into the life of Claidi, an ordinary girl on an extraordinary adventure.

The book is loosely set in a Medieval wintertime, though not historically so. Included in the cast of characters are a shapeshifter and a goddess.
While "Blood Wolf" is a bit gruesome for my adult tastes, I can see many a teen liking this tale.
To the young adult who does enjoy this book, in addition may I respectfully suggest Stephen King's "The Eyes of the Dragon." It's longer, but it's a very good story that you might just love!
