CD ROM
I am looking for a cd rom of thisbook, may be you can tell me if this cd exists? if yes how can I get it?
best regards Dr` Roman Korobochka MD

obstetrics,high-risk,maternal-fetal medicine
As a woman who has had a history of difficult pregnancies (including unexplained fetal demises), Williams Obstretrics was indispensable to me in my search for the causes of my missed abortions (late miscarriages). Many doctors feel the less patients know from firsthand sources (such as this book), the better it is. But for me, Williams Obstretrics answered many questions not only regarding my losses but also in my uncomplicated pregnancies. OBGYNs don't need to be told about this book; they swear by it. I think their patients should too.

Do you like to watch other people's home movies?
Nephew Jim Faulkner talks about his famous uncle. These stories will be appreciated by Faulkner fans-- no one else. The nine stories provide a look at an off-duty Faulkner. One of the more interesting tales explains why Oxford has two Confederate monuments.

Great method of seeing both sides
I'm using this excellent book to teach my Black studies class right now. Primarily, it provides each side of debates of famous issues in Black history. For example, Thomas Jefferson's theories of Black inferiority are compared with Benjamin Banneker's beleifs in the equality of all, Booker T. Washington's "bootstrap theory" is compared with WEB DuBois's belief in social protest, MLK's veiws on the inclusion of Blacks in American society is compared with Malcolm X's views on Black Nationalism, etc. Complete lectures, speeches, and wirings in the own words of the people who are discussed, are given so that the reader/students may make up their own minds. Teachers, take note of this and consider it for your classes.

All on a Summer's Day
Published in Paperback by Carroll & Graf (1989)
Author: John William Wainwright

Used price: $2.22
Collectible price: $2.64

Wainwright's Best Yet?
John Wainwright, ex-Yorkshire cop, has written over 70 tremendously varied crime novels. This one attempts to portray all the facets of police work in a 24-hour period, from multiple viewpoints: street cops, ranking police officers, victims, crooks, and families of all. There are over thirty "main" characters, but they are so sharply individualized that one always knows who's who at any time. There are several plot strands, carefully distributed, and a catastrophic, very satisfying climax. Wainwright brings all his characters alive with no wasted words. This book has it all: complex and varied characters, logical and interesting plot, excellent pacing, well-portrayed Yorkshire village life, humor, and wisdom. A fine novel!

Misleading Title
Don't be mislead by the title. The Armed Robbery Orgasm is a serious piece of sexological research, which delivers an important message. In order to cure a sexological disorder, you must first expose it. Mr.Keyes' book is a candid account of how an untreated sexologic disorder can be damaging to one's self and sometimes others.

As a therapist, I hand this book to patients that had hinted of any sexologic problems that were reluctant to say too much. After reading The Armed Robbery Orgasm, they arrive at their next session primed to discuss openly their sexologic concerns.

The authors'willingness to be completely open about behavior, thought, and feeling, especially relative to material which causes most people extreme embarrassment has paved the way for others to expose their secret lives in order to be helped.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has a sexological question, as well as, to professionals to treat sexologic impairments. This book gives individuals permission to be honest with themselves and others, especially about taboo topics.
