This book is so wonderful. I am 15 years old and I still read poems out of this book when I am having a bad day.If you do order this book witch I suggest you do read the poem about 5 little monsters. This poem always makes me smile! This book is great for childern in Kindergarrden because it is easy reading and the language is very detailed. This poems relate to children too!

A young girl, home from boarding school, meets a young boy on the beach. He tells her that she will soon have a friend. When the girl looks up, after putting her head down for a moment, the boy is gone. The only tracks on the beach are her own! A few days later the boy appears to her in her house and tell her to bring her puppets and follow him. He leads her to a house in a poor section of town. There she meets a little sick girl and hears the story of "Allan". Was he really there or not is up to you, the reader, to decide! A gentle mystery for the youngest readers. It's a little spooky so parents may want to read it first to see if it is right for their child. The hauntingly beautiful pictures give this book just the right gauthic look. Although this book is out of print it is worth an OP book search!

David and the Giant is a delightful book. It tells the storyof David and Goliath in a way that has our son captivated and theartwork is bright and interesting. We have been searching for bible story books that would engage and interest our 2 1/2 year old for sometime. We have finally found a real winner! I highly recommend this book!

My children love this book and want to listen to it over and over again. I think the Dinofours series are great because they teach children good manners in a way that children can relate to.

Haussig has written the definitive volume on Byzantine culture and scoiety. The book is set up as a series of sociiological slices from the different eras of Byzantine history, and traces the evolution of particular aspects of Byzantine culture. The book's barrage of goregeous photographs and illustrations are a great complement to Haussig's splendid writing. In addition to being one of the greatest works on Byzantine history this book contains one of the best summaries of how and why the Western Empire disintegrated while the Eastern Empire survived. This book can't help but be both useful and entertaining.

A delightful story which displays problem solving strategies when a puppy is faced with the dilemma of how to let the Tooth Fairy know he's lost his tooth.

This is one of the best beginning readers I have ever found. I teach first grade and my kids adore this series about a silly dog and all his adventures. This book is a great introduction to color mixing as the dog dips himself into pots of paint. My kids particulrly enjoy the page where he shouts: "Watch out for Rainbow Dog!" and leaps into the wading pool with the baby. Kids will want to read this over and over again. The illustrations are hilarious.

"This is about when Tracy and Danielle get mad at each other, but they learn they really are still best friends. I like the train Tracy makes with Joshua. This school is just like my new school! I want to get all the Dinofours books!"

The very active main character 'super dino' lets his imagination run wild. Unfortunately, his activities are less than appreciated by his classmates. Mrs. Dee (the teacher) with the help of his classmates show him how to become a 'super dino' that everyone likes.

The illustrations are great. The interaction of all the characters are realistic. These are scenes you have seen played in your own back yard. The kids get angry, thoughtfull, helpful, hurt and happy. I especially enjoyed the part were Mrs. Dee asked the children for their suggestions on how to solve the problem. She encouraged them to come up with the solution instead of giving one to them.

I share this book with my 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter. Many times we substitute the names of the teacher and children for real characters in their life. Of course my son is always 'super dino'.

I heard my daughter's preschool teacher read this book to the class. They were really into it! They did not like how the main character acted so bossy. I know that they definitely got the message!
