Fun, exciting and scary all rolled into one.
Michael and his sister live in a haunted house. They soon discover a picture that fortells when evil will happen. The person in the picture is wearing a ring that seems to glow just before something evil happens. On a seemingly perfect day the ring glowed and during a game of fetch with his dog instead of a stick being brought back body parts were. The more the ring glowed the more the decayed body parts came together trying to become one person. Michael and his sister soon discovered how to end this scary ordeal by one simple thing.

Tracey's Four-Star Choice
Tracey is a spunky, confident 13-year-old old girl living on the west coast with her loving mother. Her life had seemed fine with a single mother, good grades and an interesting modeling career. But her long lost father suddenly shows up at her doorstep. Her priorities have become unclear between the girls at the agency, her potential stepfather, modeling, her mother and this new stranger masquerading into her life as her father. She is torn between her life with her mother and the fantasy television family she has always dreamed of. Will Tracey feed her childhood dreams?

This book is told by a thirteen-year-old who is at that point in her life when insecurity kicks in when the burning question, "What am I going to do with my life?" jumps into play. She gets caught up in her dreams and fantasies that she forgets the importance of family and friends, who where always there for her. The story has good morals and lessons for young teens. As a teenager myself, I would recommend this for that bookworm friend or family member.

It was a great story and should be a five star book except for the aspect of modeling . . . It seemed a little cheesy at times. I found it hard to believe that this girl just walked into a mall and was picked to be a model. I know it happens, but it was still a little surreal. Taking that into consideration I gave it four stars.

Coloring book
This is a coloring book, although it does not say so anywhere on the front cover. It has words on some pages (about one sentence on a page), but is mostly just pictures to color and some join-the-dots pictures. It also contains 4 stickers.

Give Me A Break!
Who wants to read about somebody changing almost everything, even their name to, Spike. Just to have cool things written about them! Give me a break!

Michelle is fine just the way she is.
The girls in Michelle's class are making a slam book. All they say about Michelle is things like "Fine"and "A nice person". But Michelle wishes that they would say things like "Cool" and "Awesome" Instead of just plain old "Nice", so she decides to change her hair, clothes, name, and everything! Is this how Michelle really wants to be? A guitar player with kool-aid color hair named Spike?

Wanna be cool? Don't ask Michelle!
How to be Cool is about a nine-year-old girl, Michelle Tanner. It all starts in school when a girl passes Michelle the class slambook. Michelle looks at her page. Her friends wrote great things about her, but the other kids didn't. Michelle turns the page and sees Loreen West's page. Everyone wrote super things about her. After school that day she decides to act like Loreen. Loreen is sort of a punk. First she cuts up her clothes. She then goes downstairs and shows her father. Her father is not very happy. The next day, her father left early for work. She wore her new clothes to school! Her friends thought she was crazy. She just ignored what they said. The kids in school didn't even seem to notice, though! Next she dyed her hair with kool aid. But bees attacked her. Then she wore a wig and fake nose ring to school. The cool kids liked her then. Then she told them she could play the air guitar. Now they want her to be in their band! What a mistake!
