Tasty yet Nutritious
This is a "warm and fuzzy" book. It doesn't get in your face or make you nervous. There are challenges, but so gently delivered you might not even notice. However, the gentle approach does nothing to lessen the impact of the truth, so joyfully shared, that God loves us forever, for always and no matter what. This is a great summer beach read or a gift to give to a friend who needs to know how much God loves them.

Just loved this book!!!
Boundless Love written by a wonderful group of women is an inspirational little book. It has everything you could ask for.
Humor, tears, spiritual lessons. I loved the stories that the women share about their personal experiences. Most of which I could easily relate. I highly recommend reading this book!

a good read
I must admit, this book had been sitting on my shelf for months, given to me by a friend. I don't think I ever really had the intention of reading it. But one day, I found myself at home with nothing to do...I had read all my other books, so I decided to take this off the shelf and read it. I was very happily surpirsed.

The characters were written to be liked. The heroine, Pandora, is giving, kind, impetuous, and unspoiled. The hero, while somewhat jaded and arrogant, is also kind and highly likable. There was nothing about either of these characters that I found annoying. The secondary characters were also well-written, and the dialogue a joy to follow.

Sleeper hit! Endearing and wonderful characters.
Like another reviewer, I just chanced to pull this book from my shelf. A 1982 novel with rather small print, I wasn't sure it had much promise. I was wrong. What a delightful novel with mature, though sometimes flawed, characters. There is not one person you meet that is not well fleshed out with delightful (yet VERY human) personalities. Take our heroine, Pandora. She is rather naive but so full of love and compassion for others. She really can't see the selfishness in people around her. She is taken advantage of by those who should love her best. Her older brother Courtney, army mad, manages to sweet talk her into parting with the remaining family jewels to finance his commission to America. Her younger brother William, though young and more forgivable, tends to deal only with his passions of science then the realities of life. Even her half sister Octavia begrudges Pandora the least bit of affection and attention seeing her only as some small means of advancing herself in Societies eyes.

Enter the Duke of Heron, thirty-six, aloof, bored but possessing a keen sense of humor and respectability. Pandora, at nineteen, is orphaned and her father was involved in some sort of military blunder before his death. She feels compelled to make her way in the world and appeals to Heron for the position of governess. She learned from a old family friend that he has been made the guardian to two young children. Since this same family friend has told Heron she wanted to help him find a wife, he is confused and appalled by Pandora's request and thinks she is applying to be his wife! How shocking, yet how intriguing, when he realizes the mistake.

The rest of the novel moves through various stages of the Season and how Heron succeeds in making many of Pandora's wishes come true. He assists (behind the scenes) in solving many problems that crop up along the way. He puzzles over why he wants to help this young woman but of course we realize he is falling in love, even if he does not. Pandora, too, matures during this time, leaving her childish infatuation with one of Courtney's friend behind her as she explores the depth of her feelings for Heron. After they marry, there are the normal "getting to know you" problems, plus danger appears in the form of a jealous woman. The story moved rapidly and without the drawn out misunderstandings rampant in other Regency novels. You must read this book and meet all the other people from the balloonist to Heron's grandmother. Wonderful must read!

I have been doing daily devotions for over 10 years, and it's sometimes hard to find a book that is current and yet spritual.

I saw the list of contributors and decided to give it a try.

This book of devotions is a winner. I'm a busy mom, career woman and caregiver. So free time for me is at a premium. This book has all the things I look for. Quick and easy to read, and with advice and practical ways to live the Godly life I continue to strive for, without being preachy.

I look forward to my devotions and am renewed.

easy reading
This book was an ok book, it took three evenings to finish. I thought the book was more about joy rather then JOY. By that I mean it was more about earthly things & relationships, ect. in life producing joy ~ I had hoped it would have been more about the JOY of the Lord. It is a good book for a brand new Christian or someone searching.

Bring Back the Joy - Spiritual Poetry in Motion!
Sheila Walsh has done it again! I thought "Life is Tough but God is Faithful" was too wonderful to top, but "Bring Back the Joy" has possibly surpassed it and has truly shown me how to do JUST THAT! Her honest and real style allows the reader to relate to her in a way that she becomes like a dear friend. With this level of comfortability established, the reader is able to see clearly and learn how to dispel religeous myths, take inventory of personal and spiritual baggage, and apply God's truth, healing and love to their lives. By breaking the mold of the model Christian, Shiela has reinforced to me that: 1. God loves me for who I am, not what I do for Him. 2. It is okay to be "me". 3. Only through God's loving encouragement and my own acceptance of myself, can I be changed and strengthened to be the Christian woman that God desires me to be.

This book has miraculously enhanced my life A must read for all who have lost their zest for their faith and desire to "rekindle the joy in their relationship with God."

A Daring Beauty matches wits with a charming rakes
It began as an innocent flirtation and likely would have remained so had dazzlingly beautiful opera singer Marissa Merrilli and her lovestruck young lord been left to their own devices. But a meddling family and notorious gossip combined to drive Marissa into an aristocratic entanglement she had never desired. Still, everything might have worked out eventually if not for the unexpected interference of wealthy, debonair Gervase Maxwell. Gervase's erroneous assumption that Marisa was a fortune-hunting woman of easy virtue was a clarion call to battle that the volatile, headstrong singer could not ignore-and an unforgivable mistake she swore to make Mr. Maxwell pay for dearly. A good read

Honestly
I would like to retract the review that I made earlier this evening. My review was honest and true, but I fear much too hard after thinking about it. If one person is helped by this book, then it will be THE ANSWER for them.

WONDERFUL -- speaks to the heart
I have struggled with, at times winning and at times losseing, depression since I was a small child. I am a strong full-faith Christian. Believe it or not, and a lot of people don't -- you can be both. Sheila breaks that ground and opens her heart and her soul for the good of us reading. She has hurt sooooo much; and come soooo close to the edge of darkness. This book speaks to the heart and damaged maind of every depressed reader; I have cried on each page; for her and for me. It is a great read for the non-depressed to illustrate that a real and active Christan can still be attacked. The support the book offers for fellow depression suffers is excellent. It is not a total explanation of depression, nor of "seeking help" but it is a personal journy that empowers other to walk the path. It is not all you need to read; but it is a read support.

A light in the dark
It has been a few years since I read Sheila's book, so I don't remember a lot of specific details about it as much as the feelings I had about it. I got the book after attending a Women of Faith conference where I heard Sheila speak. Part of what Sheila shared with us was about her struggle with depression. I was deeply touched by Sheila's story, as I could relate to many aspects of it. I began struggling with depression while I was in high school. My life seemed to be going well as I was an honor student apparently headed for a good college and career. But inside, I felt like I was falling apart. It was hard for me to share what I was feeling as I was also dealing with denial and shame. While I was never hospitalized as Sheila was, I always had the feeling that I was just barely hanging on. Fortunately, I was able to find some answers in books I read, but as I tried to share what I was experiencing with other people, I encountered as much misunderstanding and condemnation as compassion and understanding. So I could relate to Sheila's feelings of isolation, and her need to hide her true self from the world.
As for Sheila's book Honestly, it was like a light in the dark for me, to hear from someone who had experienced something similar to what I went through. It helped me know I was not alone, and played a role in my healing process as I read it and reread parts that were most significant to me. It was also encouraging to see how God was using Sheila's painful experiences to enable her to minister to others, a concrete example of how God can take the bad in our lives and transform it into good.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with depression, shame, and feeling like they have to hide their true self from other people. It is helpful to hear from others who have shared these feelings, and we can learn from their experiences. For those who may not be going through these things, I would recommend this book as a tool to gain some understanding of those who are, and to better know how to respond to others' pain with compassion.
Just as an added note, for those who may think depression is just something to be "fixed", I went into it as an atheist, and came out with a rock solid faith in God. The pain of depression can be helpful in that it may cause us to question our perception of reality, to be seeking something more, and to see our need for and be more receptive to God's love and compassion. In this respect, depression can be a catalyst for spiritual, emotional and mental growth.

Used to be ok, now stale
This book had stale information when it came out years ago and now it appears that they don't plan to update it. I heeard that the original authors became embroiled in litigation and lost the rights to the book. Well it's a shame and it shows.

THIS BOOK IS SOOOO OUT OF DATE!
The information is this book is totally out of date and is approaching uselessness at this point. Try the Vault.com Guide to the Top Law Firms, or check out the Vault.com site, where all the law firms profiles are updated in real time.

The Insider's Guide to Law Firms
This is the best review of the law firms for the prospective associate. In contrast to similar resources, its reviews do not merely parrot the happy-face PR from the firm's web page. There is a big difference between law firms that is difficult to ascertain from the firms' published materials or from a handful of half hour interviews -- every law student choosing between bigfirm jobs should read the Insider's Guide.

On the downside, the selection of firms which are reviewed is somewhat limited.
