total trash
Skipped around leaving some odd problems out of book. Only explained a few problems in total detail. This is by far the worst solutions manual on the market. Bring it back for a refund before its to late.

polite people don't say it in public
This is, without a doubt, the most incredibly worthless book I have come across in my college experience. I am getting an A in Calculus in spite of, and NOT because of this book. The so-called "Harvard Method" leaves the student with the concepts of calculus, but with none of the tools to actually perform the operations. If you get stuck with this as a required text, I strongly recommend you also purchase a traditional calculus text to actually learn from.

I have never had a book like this one before.
I used this book about three years ago for all my three calculus classes, and most of my classmates liked it. We found this book to be very challenging because it made us think all semester long. We also liked it because our professor explained every single example of the book; most of all, they were very explained by our professor. Now I am looking forward to see the new edition of the book.

Good basics but over 10 years old - not current
Book had some great basics concerning retailing and retail management. Current marketplace dynamic virtual environment. Book has no sections dedicated to the internet or cyber retail marketplace. Should be updated with reprint very much needed.

William Faulkner: The Making of a Modernist (Fred W. Morrison Series in Southern Studies)

Disappointing and meandering
Prof. Singal has an interesting thesis here, one well worth exploring, but his book needs more focus. Singal wanders from psychobiography (including some ill-fitting speculation into Faulkner's neurological problems!) to literary analysis to critiques of other Faulkner critics. Singal ends his study when it reaches the midpoint of Faulkner's career, essentially saying that Faulkner did not write anything interesting after 1942 or so--and while this well may be a valid opinion, asserting it without substantiating it is a cop-out. At times I felt I was reading the work of a talented undergrad rather than that of a tenured professor.

Readers interested in more rigorous studies of Faulkner's life and works should stick with Blotner's *Faulkner: A Biography*, Brooks's *WF: The Yoknapatawpha Country*, and Frederick Karl's relatively recent *WF: American Writer*.

Do NOT buy this book
I found this book more confusing than helpful. The test questions were not comparable to those actually on the LSAT. They were more vague and misleading than those questions on the actual test, particularly the logic games. Using poor study materials can really hurt you, so I would spend time working with more beneficial materials than this book. I would recommend Kaplan books instead or just getting the official tests produced by LSAC. Good luck on the test!

Riddled with errors
I bought this book primarily as a source of practice analytical (games) questions. I didn't pay much attention to the test-taking tips, which tend to be the same in every test prep book anyway. However, the sample material is so poorly constructed and edited that it is completely useless.

Consider just the 15 questions on page 112-113. There is at least one question which cannot be answered correctly. There is another which has two correct answers, unless you make an additional assumption which is not stated in the question. There are two questions which ask exactly the same thing, with slightly different words. And there is at least one question for which the answer given (on page 121,) though correct, is accompanied by an explanation which is complete nonsense.

That's just two pages. The rest of the book is filled with similar garbage. Flipping through this book and picking out all the logical errors might actually be a good exercise for a future lawyer, but it's useless as preparation for the LSATs.

Please do not buy
Luckily I just took this book out from the library and didn't waste my money on it.

Please, please, please do not buy or use this book. It is a waste of time. Unfortunately sometimes the only way to find this out is to use the book yourself. Please though believe my review and the others (who rate it low). I wasted about a week and a half. Perhaps I learned some basic reading comp. tactics, but that's about it.

I just bought Master the LSAT by Nova. Haven't used it yet, but the reviews (which I should have believed for this book) are pretty high.

Calculus: Student Confusion Manual
This "solutions manual" only offers answers for every fourth question. The most painful part is that the so-called solutions are merely the answers from the back of the text book put into complete sentences; there is NO additional instruction.

Unfortunately, Amazon does not offer any way to properly rate this waste of money.

Save your money for a voluntary root canal!
This book is so pathetically minimal that I award it...1/10 of a star. (It may be useful in starting a fire in your fireplace...maybe). DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SOLUTION MANUAL! It only includes about every other odd solution, and most of the time, it shows just the (often incorrect) answer. The worst part is, that same answer is usually in the back of the textbook! It is definitely not worth even $5.00, so save your money!

simple minded book
This book has the annoying habit of presenting opinion as fact. It's a required textbook for "Real Estate Practice" in some classes in California, but if you are just looking for an informational book on California Real Estate outside of the classroom, I would recommend a Nolo Press book instead.
