Huge Help in Recovery
I purchased this book at the suggestion of a friend while I was recovering from Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery..(a triple bypass). I was in need of information that would help me recover and take me forward to avoid needing surgery in the future, to bring me back to a state of good health and to find ways to do it with little disruption. I had a few other books given to me, or suggested. I have found that The New Living Heart Diet is an amazingly complete "how to" manual for someone with heart disease or is trying to prevent it. I would reccommend it to a friend.

A God-send for Wayward Southerners in the Big Apple!
Any southerner living in New York City will appreciate this lively, well-written restaurant guide that can soothe all your cravings. Soul food, bbq, Louisiana cooking, and any other country foodstuffs you can think of are right here in NYC (believe it or not!), and these southern-born boys have taste-tested all of them for us and come up with some real winners. If you find your stomach churning for grits and sweet potato pie the way I do, this book should be at your side always.

A GREAT & TOUCHING TRIBUTE TO THE MAN WHO TOUCHED OUR LIVES!
This book has it all. Stories from fans, DeadHeads, personal friends, associates, etc. Touching anecdotes. Humor. Love. Peace. And of course...THE MUSIC! No matter what your story is or how you "got on the bus" you deserve to have the oppurtunity to read this book. I promise you, whatever your connection to the Dead is, there is a story in here expressing your feelings. AMAZING. Please buy it, it is well worth it. All DeadHeads need to read this book (although I feel even someone who didn't even like the Dead would find this book equally amazing). I cannot say enough good things about this book. When I got through with my copy, I gave it to a friend because I was so touched I had to do something generous. Keep the "Unbroke Chain" alive my friends. Peace!

The Book(s) That Started it All
Like the title says, this is the book (or collection thereof) that started the best (IMHO) comic book series ever. This shows how the GenX kids got together, and it depicts their first adventure together, sadly however, there is one who will not stay with them for very long. A MUST READ for any comic book fan!

No nation has more poetry in her soul than does Scotland
A wealth of artistry and talent highlight the poignant and often heartbreaking history of this small nation. This collection of poetry brings to light the richness of the Scottish culture and the amazing diversity of her people. Selections from the 1200's through the 1900's trace the passion and the pain of a nation who's people have helped to shape the world in which we live. Every facet of life and society is touched upon in this collection and the translations into English on each page make understanding the "old language" so much easier. As a lover of Poetry or a lover of Scotland, this book is a treasure for any collector to own. I highly recommend that you own it and read it... again and again!

A Motivational and Inspirational Read
For me this was a great achievement by a local author in my area. I especially liked the Christmas poetry #27. A must for every Chirstian individual who seeks to strike a balance in their busy lives. Easy to read before bed or early in the morning. People may like to use this as a supplement to their Bible study groups.

transform yourself
I believe this is the best book on understanding the pricipals behind successfully using makeup to improve ones appearance. The book is a real makeup guide no matter what your "type" is.
As soon as i was done reading the book i ran into the bathroom to begin to put into practice what I learned from the book and it works. One of the great things about the book is the helpful eye chart that you can actually stick on the mirror so applying eye makeup the correct way is easy and comfortable.

This is a must for women 40 and above.

Wilderness Canyon
You can almost hear the water hitting the rocks of the Caney Fork River as you look at the photography of Howard Baker and John Netherton. The seasons may change but the canyon walls stand guard over this beautiful 10000 wilderness area on the Cumberland Plateau near Chattanooga, Tenn. Profits from the sale of the book go to the Bridgestone/Firestone Centenial Trust for maintenance of the area.
