This is an awesome book of short stories....I highly recommend...just bought it and am on my second trip thru!

Magic Is The Way To A Man's Heart!
This is a collection of four romantic tales with a magical twist. My favourites were Saving Sirena,in which a lonely man finds a cat in the street, only to discover the cat is really a young witch who had a spell cast on her to remain a cat, unless she could find someone to fall in love with her without the aid of her magic;and Everything She Does Is Magick,in which a young girl is destined to have a child with a certain boy she just happens to love, but he does not feel the same,so it is up to her aunts to make sure he does...

A great Halloween read!!!!!
This is an fun collection of Halloween romances-----a great read for a bewitching night.

really excellent fun for kids
Kates Surprise is a fun book I loved when I was 12. Kate's friends are acting mysterious because they are planning a surprise party for her,but Kate feels that they are sneaking around without her because they don't like her anymore.

Really cute story for 9 or 10 year olds...
If you are a little girl who loves sleepovers, parties and hanging around with your friends at the mall or pizza place, this is the book for you. You will be able to relate to its fun and silly humour. It is about a group of four girls, Stephanie, Lauren, Patti and Kate who are "sleepover friends". For Kate's birthday, the three girls plan a surprise party. Infact, they are spending so much time trying to earn money for the surprise that they are avoiding Kate! Now Kate is angry and the "sleepover friends" may be finished! Will the surprise party be enough to win back Kate

It suprised me!!!
Kate, Stephine, Lauren, and Patti all were best friends. Until Kate had no one to hang around with any more. Stephine, Lauren, and Patti had a big secret and that meant risks. Really big risks. Kate gets really up set and starts hanging around with the wrong people. Will the sleepover surprise birthday party bring back Kate? Want to find out then read this book!!!

Only okay.
This new book in the Treasured Horses series was not one of my favorites. It was set in Canada in 1926. It was about a girl who wants to compete in the cattle cutting contest at the fair with her horse, Chinook. But the contest is only for boys. The ending was way too perfect and neat. Overall, I was very dissapointed by this book.

Perfect for kids
This book is a favorite for children, but it is so predictable to adults

Kate's Secret Plan - GREAT BOOK
I love horse books and this is one of my favorites. I liked it because it showed how you can do whatever you want to do even if you are a girl. Girls can do equally as well as boys when they put their mind to something. I like it when people do what they want by putting their mind to accomplish something. Kate showed her courage in this book. It is also fun to read and you can learn a lot about quarter horse

Danger On Crab Island was OK.
This was a short book that was about a boy named Tyler who came to live with his aunt, uncle and cousin. He gets into trouble and is helped out by his cousin Dana. I liked it because of the adventure. I would recommend it if you like learning about the ocean.

Danger on Crab Island
This is a great book! It has lots of drama and excitement. I had to read it for a school project and I am glad I picked this book to do my project on.

This book is about a boy named Tyler who tries to kayak out to Crab Island through dangerous currents, wind and waves. Only Dana, his cousin, knows he is out there. When Tyler gets in trouble on the water Dana must mount a rescue. Read the book to find out what happens next.

I can't wait to read the other books in the series.

Very Good Adventure Story
I couldn't put this book down! Anyone interested in protecting our environment and preserving sea life will love any of the Neptune Adventures. Hurricane Rescue, the 5th book in the Neptune Series, was far and away the best so far. Braving the storm to rescue their beloved pet was touching as well as thrilling. The best part was when Tyler rescued Dana from the cliff as the hurricane raged. Tyler truly had grown up, putting others before himself and learning to respect the power of nature.

I thought that Hurricane Rescue was great
The Hurricane Rescue was great. It was very exciting and was not boring. I would recommend that ages 8-10 would really like this book. It is a book about 5 friends who make a rescue of animals and people during a hurricane.

Lucky Lady
Lucky Lady is a great book. I realy enjoyed it! This is a great book for anyone that likes stories about horses and who likes an interesting book. A young girl named Jamie gets more than she expected for the summer. First she has to stay with her grandad which she hasn't seen in over four years and she has to live with him the whole summer. Her mother gives her two hudred dollars and she ends up spending it on a wild horse she got from an auction. Now her grandad and herself have to take care of the horse and they try to make it tame. This is a great book! I really enjoyed the book!

More than one lucky lady
While her widowed mother works abroad, twelve-year-old Jamie must leave her Maine home to spend the summer at her grandfather's ranch. She impulsively buys a unbroken horse at an auction. Jamie copes with change and adversity as this exciting adventure unfolds.

Two weeks may not seem like a very long time, but the lives of three generations are changed in this satisfying tale.

This is written by the author of the popular "Sleepover Friends" series and would be enjoyable for fans in upper elementary grades and junior high. Readers interested in Texas, ranching, grandfathers or horses should like it as well.

An unmissable series for kids
As a 12 year old this series was a very close favourite next to Sweet Valley Twins. They are short books but full of fun and adventure for 4 good, mischevious friends. It is hard to remember the book but I know one of them was practicing for a play but her acting was as wooden as something out of the Young and Restless...! Hmmmm..I just might go read the only 2 sleepover friends books I ever managed to find, now that Im thinking about them.

Lots of fun.
Outgoing Stephanie is sure that she'll get the leading role in the school play. Then, for sure Michael will be interested in her. What Stephanie doesn't expect is for her good friend, shy, quiet Patti, to outshine her. When Michael seems to like Patti, that is all that Stephanie can take! Stephanie isn't sure that she even wants to be friends with Patti anymore! (Grades 4-6)

Large title, short book
A book for younger readers this story is pretty short. Looking to save your dying garden you buy some cranberry colored fertilizer from a strange man. It works but the vegetables grow huge and are mean to the core. Now you must find a way to destroy the garden but the vegetables have gained intelligence and will try to stop you. A strange amount of ways to die for a child's book I would recommend that it's read by someone in 2 or third grade. It's a book for those that like reading about giant things since the formula can enlarge not only plants but animals as well.

Caught in the middle
When Cassie hears of Magesty, a Lipizzan new to her stables, she marvels at the beauty. But when Hillary also notices him, her jealousy grows and she immedietly demands the horse to be hers - and hers only - to ride. Who will be able to win Majesty? A good Treasured Horses addition...but somewhat predictable. Still a good read for children 10 and under. Since I own a horse myself, I found this book a fun read in school. Also, this has a bunch of cool facts for the young horse owner. Personally, I like the Treasured Horses: Pride of the Green Mountains somewhat more than I did this book. But, don't let my opinion stop you. See what you think after reading Riding School Rivals for yourself. : )

Majesty - Who's Horse?
Cassie is an excellent rider and jumper. When she hears that a beautiful Lipizzan named Majesty arrives, she's sure that he would be perfect for her. But when another rich and self-centered girl, Hillary, also sees the horse, only one girl will get him. Who will win the right to lease this fallen angel?

The Best!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this book! I've read it a million times and I'm still not sick of it! It's the first book that I've read from the series and it's inspired me to read the others. This book is realistic to me because every young girls can really relate to wanting that one special horse. Also, this book has a part inwhich Cassie is in her riding lesson, so readers can learn more about good posture and tecniques when they ride.
