I have just read this remarkable book for the first time--for I plan to go back and read it again, slowly. It is sorely needed refreshment for the struggling Christian writer. It's also practical, easy to read, supportive and yet challenging. The book consists of thirty-three short chapters, with a supporting structure of Scriptural references, simple homework assignments, and plentiful examples from the author's own struggles. Just reading it is refreshing and soothing--thre is something remarkably restorative about the author's plain-spoken style. Some of the subjects she covers include dealing with rejection; doubt and despair; maintaining balance; and keeping up one's physical health. In short, this is a powerful book about the spirituality of Christian writing. I recommend it most highly.

I just received Marlene Bagnull's book, Write His Answer, and can't seem to put it down! Although I am certain about my call to be a Christian writer in my life, I also struggle with feelings of inadequacy. As a striving young Christian writer, the sound advice and tips from this book along with the sound Scripture references have truly been an answer to prayers. God used "Write His Answer" to provide a nudge in my own life to take a more active role as a Christian writer. I recommend this book to any Christian writer.

When I first started reading this book, I could not believe how practical it was. The biblical principles shared works and I would recommend this book to anyone who believes God has called them to write. It will basically answer most of your questions.

I read the Desperate Search and I really enjoyed it. Hildy and Ruby are very adventurous. This is a book that I really recommend for everyone. If you liked this book you can read more of the books in the series or Lee Roddy has another good series out called The Ladd Family Adventures. These books take place in these present times and these are also very adventurous books. I loved the the ones that I read!

This is a great book. YOU MUST buy the second one two if you buy the first one because it leaves you hanging. I haven't read the second one but I am dying to know what happens next. If your interested about the civil war you'll like it. Also if you like the Ladd Family adventures also buy Lee Roddy you'll love this new exciting series.

This is a great book, I have read it several times and will read it again anytime. This book is right full of suspense, mystery,and fun. This book also does a great job of teaching that it's not winning that counts but how you play the game.

I really liked this book. It was very exciting. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. Hildy tries to make everything just right. It had a really good setting, (since I live in the Ozarks). It was a story about faith, and trust in God.

To this day, many years later, this book still stands out in my mind from the D. J. Dillion adventure series. D.J., Alfred, and Kathy are invited to stay at a mansion on the edge of town to try to locate Grandpa, who is missing after investigating the area. Soon after dark, D. J. and Alfred see the ghost that haunts the area. Then D.J. hears its footsteps in the room, but doesn't see a thing. Meanwhile, Kathy has also vanished. Will the boys find the secrets and rescue the prisoners? I love a good mystery and a good ghost mystery. It was a thrill to read on that made the ghost seem so real yet the whole time know it was a fake. I've read this one several times over the years since it was first printed. Definately one of Lee Roddy's best over.

This book was very mysterious.It was full of adventure.It was so exciting I didn't want to put it down.

The Overland Escape is a story of a young girl who tries to track down her family after they left her in the Ozarks. This story will have you thoroughly intruiged and on the edge of your seat. Great for boys or girls!

Josh and Tank's airplane crashes on a beach and they encounter a pirate. It turns out the pirate is a vietnam war veteran. But Josh and Tank have a plan to escape from the pirate. This is my second Lee Roddy book, and if you like a book with action and mystery, you'll love this one.

If you want to find out, read "The Secret of the Howling Cave"! This is one of my favorite books because it is a great story about trust and forgiveness, and I hope you'll enjoy it too.
